Thread: Exploit?
I think they will let it go because it is only temporary. I believe the main purpose of it is 3 fold.
1. To allow players to sample the new proffessions to see which they prefer since some professions have been drastically changed / nerfed depending on how you look at it, for instance, i miss my strafe shot very much in rifle, when it used to take about 3 seconds to slaughter an entire platoon of stormies.
2. Lots of players are leaving or talking about leaving the game. This gives the one that want to stay or are thinking about staying a chance and more importantly a reason to stick around for a while and give it a real chance, not like some who say "i tried it ... i played for 2 hours one night and 45 min the next day and it sux"
3. This in conjunction with double xp lulls many people into a sense of "i am leveling pretty fast" and "wow, leveling itn hte CU is awesome" so they will stay around.
I know that it is working that way for me anyway

number 3 is why I think this is intentional, they would rather us get some free skills than cancel our accounts

Is it an exploit for a low level jedi to respec novice skill boxes to get higher tier boxes in another jedi skill. (ex. drop novice powers (20k exp) and novice healing (20k exp)and get ls tech1(200k exp)) Then with the exp they have or will get, train to get the novice boxes back and in 12 hours respec those boxes to use for another highter tier box.
I would like the Devs to please answer this, and for other players to give their ideas without flaming others opinions.
Edit: I also tried to talk to 2 CSRs in the chat room and they told me to look on the forums.

It's clearly not an exploit since they specifically made it possible and mentioned that xp earned between respecswould count toward new respec points.
This was a needed move on their part because many of the qualifications for normal professions changed (for example, TK needing two novice lines instead of the one previously used). It doesn't do anything but allow someone to grind out the template they want more quickly--if they're willing to put in the time and work now.
From their point of view, it's not wholly a gift, either. The more people play in and invest in the new system, the more likely they are to stay and tell their friends that it works fine. They could've just given everyone the prereqs necessary, but this way it forces one to play in the new system, giving them experience with it and allowing them to see what does and does not work.
That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it ![]()
Take advantage of it--it's not going to be going on much longer.

If you want to talk to me about something off topic then please send me a PM, I find itweird that someone would say that for their very first post. And not have said anything for the 2 months prior.
