There have been a lot of things working as intended that people later found out that you cant do and have been ban for.

When they made it so respec points are saved, as well as making "newly aquired" boxes count towards future respecs, they pretty much guaranteed this would happen.. The same way some people use easy to get exp, like Scout, to respec into hard to get boxes like CH..

I don't see how this is an "exploit". This is the system they created. Surely they thought this out in advance and didn't just rush into the CU. Oh wait.
But, they designed it this way, they cannot blame player for taking advantage of it. This is not like the credit dupe or other slpoits of the past.
Plus the way they nerfed us, I think they know people are pissed and leaving, so they don't want to anger us anymore.

they had also created a system for FR and when people were just killing each other for FR it was counted as an exploit. Then changed to if you broke the timer then its an exploit, but people still were ban for it at first.

Tiggs knows about this and hasn't said anything against it, and with only a few more days left on the respec I don't think it is really a concern.

Its a concern of mine bc if its not an exploit then I can get some levels and if it is then I am not going to do it. It would help me out a lot if I could do this without being ban.

How in the hell can they say anything about it? Its being done in elite professions to. Since Bio Engineer is considered a combat profession, I know people grinding up B.E. with crafting and converting it to ranged or melee elites. The system simply allows it. How can they come out and say thats an exploit of some kind.

Only if its an exploit that every other combat class is doing the same and we are rolled back to CU day 1 after the "bugs"are gone.

No one will get banned from doing this. This is the way the set it up...it just has a loop hole.

i for one think they are allowing this because there are some changes in the wind for jedi, im thinking they need more jedi with higher skill levels in the game quick , im also hoping they nerf same faction hunting , if your a true bh and are in it for the sole purpose of killing a jedi you should be neutral plain and simple no faction affiliation , how hard would it be to only show missions to a bh with the oposite faction , this game has been screwed up lately the star wars feel of imp vs rebel is gone now its imp vs imp ,reb vs reb, the past week my guild has spent more time retaliating for their jedis deaths against their own faction then pvping with the opposite faction if there is going to be one more fix in this game this issue has got to have top priority

Personally i don't consider it an exploit as pre-cu i could make 200k xp in a buff (roughly 3 1/2 hours).. worth 1 level tier1 box or 2 skill points. Now i'm lucky if i can make 20-40k, and this is during double xp. I expect this to get worse next week.
This means, it effectively evens out. I *might* be persuaded that it could be an exploit if they didn't nerf us so hard that getting the equivalent 200k xp would now take 4-5 days, the fact that you need at least half of defender to survive, the fact the dps on our sabers are now one of the lowest of all elite weapons... my 2nd gen saber i'm currently using from pre-cu with my2 highest damage crystals is a poor 197dps.
You also have to look at the definition of an exploit. Which is, to use a bug to your advantage. The respec process isn't bugged (at least not from using it in this method) so cannot be an exploit. More taking advantage of a poorly designed system, just the the fightclubs in the frs before and the blackmailing of lower level jedi council members.. which the devs declared legal.
