There is your BH free Jedi content.
I reiterate. If you chose to Hologrind, or run the village, and then chose to use your Jedi abilities in such a way that gave you visability. Then you chose to become a target.
You had alot of choices. You chose to become someone else's content. You had to live with the results. Now we have to live with the results of those that couldn't take it. There is not a single solitary argument feasable that will turn my thoughts away from this.
You made your choices, we made ours. I say again, I have no sympathy for those that wept when they lost however many hours of thier grind because they got vis and someone put one between thier eyes. Choices, Choices, Choises......what will you choose to do now?

We did not choose to become a target. We knew that we could be hunted, and that if we didn't care for pvp, there were certain ways to thwart those who might want to hunt us, which would only result in the BH usually wasting a lot of time in a mission they could not complete. I did not choose to become someone else's content, I made BH's *my* content, and whenever I got a chance made them waste as much time as possible chasing a target all over the galaxy that they were never going to be able to attack... eventually they gave up, dropped the mission, moved on, and were probably pretty frustrated... while I was LMAO.
And to paraphrase your own expression, I have no sympathy for those that were upset that they had lost however many hours of their game time trying to hunt me all over the galaxy, only to give up frustrated when they realized they'd waste less time if they dropped the mission and got another one.
What will we choose to do now? Pfft. We'll be having a good time being PVE Jedi knowing that the griefers can't grief us anymore.

Perma-Death should never have been taken away, that way the whole BH-Jedi relationship would have stayed pure. But no. Crying ensued. And yes, you did choose to be a target. Being a Jedi in SWG prior to the upcoming change was the equivilant of walking around with a bullseye on your back.As far as your fleeing across the galaxy goes, whatever BH was on your trail was doing his/her job. And I seriously doubt that all of them chased you unsuccessfully.
Even if BH'ing was not used "primarily" for griefing, there was far too much griefing going on, the elimination of player bounties was inevitable in the long run. Knowing that Jedi had permadeath early on just made it more tempting for some griefers to hunt Jedi -- one person posted here about being killed, then ganked in a cloning facility, only to give her toon permadeath. So from the very earliest Jedi, there was griefing going on, and there were people abusing the system to grief other players. Yeah, being a Jedi in the old game meant that you were subject to attacks, and that many of those attacks would be carried out by griefers... no argument there. The BH's who chased me around the galaxy... were my content. I had fun with them, I enjoyed making them waste their time if they chose to make me waste mine... I lured a lot of BH's into chasing me all over the galaxy and not one of them completed their mission... they all gave up and dropped the mission, while I was LMAO.

Soe, tho i dont have all that much respect for them, has seen some of the erors of thier ways. They have seen fit to pull out the structure which enflamed people the most in the entire environment. They have come to understand that supporting a BULLY mentality is not actually productive. That we have the right as any proffession, even the one we have worked hardest for, to play that proffession and have the same choices as other proffs, implimented in the same way, to choose PvP or No PVP for our personal toon at a specific time and or place. This whole argument that by Choosing to be a Jedi , we automaticly chose to have PvP forced upon us, is a childs argument implemented by those whom have had thier stolen lolly pops taken away from them at last.Soe chose to couple forced pvp with being jedi, Not the player whom chose jedi it self. This does Not constitute us Making OUR choice on the matter.Like any other proff, we chose to have the option to Enter PvP when WE want. And we got that. Its called balance. Its called morality.Has the game lost some thing? sure it has. But this is only percieved by those whom have had it to Thier personal advantage for so long.I am a knight. I miss the rareity of jedi. The awe and romance in which the class was once held.Soe has made a farce of jedi to be sure. But it had made a farce of fair and balanced play first by introducing jedi, and second by implementing forced PvP.This allowed for tension and hate to breed, and the backlash over 2 years has seriously effected the rest of the game in a Most negative way.You cannot give an un educated child a gun, and not expect it to be used wrong. havoc Will insue. And Has.jedi was a gun. forced PvP was another. And it just got worse from there. The jedi gun, is now gone. So is the ability to force Bulliness upon those whom didnt desire it.We will collect the pieces from the ashes, and try to steer this new playing field from a more grown up and educated vantage point. God knows, its going to attract More children than ever.ALARIA.
This is true... the gun had to be taken away, some just weren't mature enough to use it wisely... When I think about it, I guess that if everyone who took Jedi missions had acted maturely and without intent to grief... maybe I wouldn't have objected to the forced pvp...

Umm... no. I ground Jedi to become a Jedi. Yes, I admit it, I liked swinging the glow-bat. The rest was forced on me and I accepted it, never complaining to SOE. Never asking for BH nerfs. Unlike BHs who asked for Jedi-on-a-stick easy wins. Hey, BTW, what are you guys gonna do to gank after NGE goes live?
You never, ever got killed by a BH? I think I shall call shennanigans on this. Anyone from pusscats server able to verify this?

were probably gonna not care, less hassle for us to get wave after wave of hate tells
then hope people like you never come on to the forums again, all you did is stir up trouble
and not really give a damn about the whole situation and hope that jedi finally get removed from the game

We chose Jedi in spite of the forced pvp and stuck it out until the end... the end of the player bounties!
