On the technical side you have got to give the system time to update. Think of all the jedi and all the people tracking them, and the lag it would cause if the terminals and peoples loctaions and status was updated on the terms every second? It wouldn't be good, I don;t know about time and the programming invovled but for me even a delay of 5 or 10 minutes is enough, after all you are not loosing any droids and its just going to be one of those things. Is it really that bad that you need walk back to the terms in kardaar (or drive) which takes like 10 seconds to get another mission?

Actually, yes, it is bad. You're not looking at it from the macro level. It takes a minute to run back and forth. Since the terminals obviously do not filter real-time offline Jedi out, all of them are included. So the pool of names you are drawing from contains a large amount of offline Jedi whom you could choose at anytime since you do not know if it is a Jedi you've chosen before. You could pull offline Jedi 30 times in a row, which translates to 30 minutes of the boring, tediousness of going back and forth between the informant and the terminals. Now assuming you do get one that is online, chances are great that it is a Jedi on kashyyk, in which case you would have to drop it as well.

Go to my post history and read my 2 hour test of the new system. It took 2 hours to pull 2 missions. That's one mission per hour -- which is really, really, really stupid. Also since it's a random mission, there's a good chance you'll get a FotM Jedi with an exploited pre-CU saber and exploited pre-CU flawless pearls who will knock you out in 3 hits if you get hit with the KD recovery bug. This translates to working for one hour to find a Jedi who killed you in 6 seconds because of the KD recovery bug.

This really is a big deal. You would know this if you actually hunted large numbers of Jedi.

I have read your post and can see its frustrating. I am not saying that its right it just might be a reason and from my experience playing last night. I managed to get most of my marks online last night and it didn't bother me much. But as its new it needs to be tested more to see if it realyl is a problem

I know it's been said

speaking as a Jedi who never runs

Is it a crime to log off or go AFK in my house when I want???

I used to do that stuff all the time when I was a non-Jedi...guess I'll just leave my character on and ATK 24/7 in the middle of Coronet for you all!

j/k

I'd never do that...my computer would overheat...

Yeah afk in a house is an exploit, logging of is an exploit, DB-ing BH's is an exploit not logging in is an exploit, saberthrow is an exploit, cloak is an exploit.

It might be worth checking out the servers you play on

Im on a european server and we only get a server reset for a publish update or when the moon is blue. Maybe this has some bearing on the devs stupity

Guys this is happening because of the AFK bug if the JEDI puts up his afk tag then you cannot launch a probot. its happened on all servers jedi are e-mailing and do not want the devs to know this but this is what is happening

/rofl...yeah...that will have just about as much effect on Patch 20 as those who cancelled a few months ago affected the CU: NOT AT ALL.
