I'm getting more and more depressed since I had the same experience. At least give us the chance to kill them if they go LD. As far as I'm concerned a jedi that goes LD when they know your on to them is a complete and utter p&@#y! Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

Well for me I've had a total of 6 Marks today. 2 where Master Defenders inwhich i fought lost and told them Congratz on thier Victory. Now then the others is what really buggs me. I had 2 ina row Target not online. Then I had one that was on Tattooine I went after him got close to wher ehe was...target offline. Now for the latest one. I get his mark Locate him on Rori I goto Rori. he's out in the middle of nowhere in a noname town I get near him he runs to his house. Well meI know that the jedi is gonna log for close to an hour as they normally do. Well he logs back on and runs to his City hall he's in his city hall when I realize he's back on I hightail it back towards that area and all of a sudden he runs to his house as soon as he can see me moving in his mini map. Well I stood by his door tryin gto coax him out as I have done to a few other Jedi....he doesn't respond once. Well I wait about another 10 minutes and he goes offline once more. I seriously think that they should do one of 2 things. 1. Get rid of the ability to see other players coming on the mini map unless they are in your group. 2. Make somthing so that Bounty hunters can get inside the Jedi's house. It's completly stupid that you can't kill someone inside of a house because it's declared private. Make it so that Artisan's or Smugglers can make a lock picking tool so that you can break into the houses to get the marks. But what I really think needs to be done is the Mini map thing. Arn't Bounty Hunters sopoised to kill thier Marks by getting the jump on them? how can you get the jump on them if they can see you coming 256 meters away?

My experience so far with the new changes...

Did alot of missions today. The first 3 or so where all without any hassle. Got the mission, got buffed, used seekers, drove there, killed the guy, took a new one and repeated that.

I had some target not online over the day and most in a row were about 3 or so at 20cet, then I mostly had luck. Dropped 8 fulltemps 1 gimp so far, but since several minutes I only get "target not online"... Im kinda pissed since that happened over 10 times in a row now.

Seekers using "seek target" also not always giving you the name. needs work.

Thanks for listening

C'mon stop whining about offline Jedi get out there and hunt. After all, a "real" bounty hunty wouldn't cry about such things! This patch separates the men from the boys, blah blah blah...

I've had 3 offline Jedi in a row. The system that checks if the Jedi is offline is obviously broken. I doubt very much that every single BH who has encountered this selected Jedi who coincidentally decided to log off 2 minutes after accepting the mission.

Goodness, the Devs couldn't even get an online/offline check to work.

Yeah and it took months before SOE fixed the original Target Not Online bug. "Working as intended" anyone?

Same happened to me the day before patch 20, add Jedi to friends list, goto launch droid, target not online. Waited for his name to leave friends list, never happened. I've also seen Jedi log out once they hit kash, and log back in again, hmmmm,

Its hard to tell if this is a bug or game breaking or an exploit. But really its probably any of them since the publish just went live yesterday. YOu have to remember that for all the jedi (which is alot) to get on the terms they might actually log when u get the mission. I mean from my friends list before Publish 20 I still saw jedi constantly logging in and out.

On the technical side you have got to give the system time to update. Think of all the jedi and all the people tracking them, and the lag it would cause if the terminals and peoples loctaions and status was updated on the terms every second? It wouldn't be good, I don;t know about time and the programming invovled but for me even a delay of 5 or 10 minutes is enough, after all you are not loosing any droids and its just going to be one of those things. Is it really that bad that you need walk back to the terms in kardaar (or drive) which takes like 10 seconds to get another mission?

Its not really game breaking and there are lot more other things that are more important between the jedi and bh to get fixed

There is no lag involved at all if you do it like this:

1. Jedi are added to the terminals when they log on, if their visibility is high enough

2. Jedi are removed from the terminals when they log off, if they were on terminals

Actually, yes, it is bad. You're not looking at it from the macro level. It takes a minute to run back and forth. Since the terminals obviously do not filter real-time offline Jedi out, all of them are included. So the pool of names you are drawing from contains a large amount of offline Jedi whom you could choose at anytime since you do not know if it is a Jedi you've chosen before. You could pull offline Jedi 30 times in a row, which translates to 30 minutes of the boring, tediousness of going back and forth between the informant and the terminals. Now assuming you do get one that is online, chances are great that it is a Jedi on kashyyk, in which case you would have to drop it as well.

Go to my post history and read my 2 hour test of the new system. It took 2 hours to pull 2 missions. That's one mission per hour -- which is really, really, really stupid. Also since it's a random mission, there's a good chance you'll get a FotM Jedi with an exploited pre-CU saber and exploited pre-CU flawless pearls who will knock you out in 3 hits if you get hit with the KD recovery bug. This translates to working for one hour to find a Jedi who killed you in 6 seconds because of the KD recovery bug.

This really is a big deal. You would know this if you actually hunted large numbers of Jedi.

I am not exactly sure how it works in this game, but from my experience with coding and games (as I do it for a living) is that you can't always just send messages to tell with all the other factors invloved (I am actually a designer and have no coding experience but get enough from the guys I work with) BUt something has to check alot of the time to see if they ar logged in or not etc etc

I am not saying I am right but or that my opinion is better here all I am trying to say is that it might be a little more difficuilt to fix than it seems since know one knows how it works. Its like updated GUI like characters on a map, there is checking back and forward on all sides to see who is there and who isn't. It probably could be done it was just possible a point of view why it wasn't. Some corners need to be cut somewhere and it could be here. Just rambling now and talkin about something I don't know how it was created but just a possibility
