Good on him.. But they wont all be like that. Most BH just "/addignore" on a mark - that way you dont feel the guilt of recking his grinding session
Neh, its more to stop the "OMFG I LAGGED J00 N00B! I |2 +h3 r0x0r!"
lol
Or more like "**** you, you mother****er, ill pwn you ****ing n00b, your no more then a 12 year-old ****er who wants to grif Jedi"
rofl... I put up with a lot of SHI T trought out my time as a Bounty Hunter, i even had to report a few once cause they started threatnig about rl - they got them selvs banned cause of some xp loss!

While I'm not a new BH, I was a dabbler pre-cu. I was killed many times by Jedi marks, and I was trying to find that "right" template for killing my marks. I have finally Re-speced and decided to hunt our Jedi freinds once again.
I sent went to the terminal got my mission and located my target. about 5000 meters from the Starport on Dantooine. I sent a probe droid out to track my target as I set up a combat macro. Target Located! I jump on my bike at head out. About 200 meters from my target I jump off the bike, and run behind a hill 106m from him. I drop prone and throw cover on. OOOps to late, there is about 6 other jedi with him and one has spotted me. He comes up to the hill and asks " Who are you here for?" andignited his saber. I ignored him and ran off about 100 meters to the east. I watched on the overhead as he ran back to the group of Jedi he was with. I peaked over the ridge and saw they were all engaged in fighting some Dorni. I again went prone and used cover. I slowly crawled until I was within range with my rifle. Looking at all of them fighting I found my Target! He was at about half health and in the middle of fighting. While there were all preocupied I targeted him, stood up and hit my attack macro. He was down in about 30 seconds as a ran up to him and adminstered the final death blow. All the Jedi were just standing there stuned.
My first Jedi, very satisfying.

uh, /clap, I guess?
My one question about this yarn is this...if the jedi was sitting there in a group, grinding, saw you clumbsily approach and detected you, walked out to you and asked you who you were there to kill, then why in the world would you characterize them as "stunned" when you opened fire?

1. I never answered his question
2. I don't wear "tags"
3. I guess they assumed I took off
4. I dont use BH specific weapons
5. I don't converse with my mark until after the kill
I guess with the number of creatures around they just assumed I was hunting solo.

After being very unsuccessful at hunting Jedi, I thought I would give it another go. I learned from my mistakes of rushing in guns blazing and thought a more cautious approach was required.
First of all, I decided I would go for a moderately powerful Jedi, lauched my probe droids, and found out the criminal was hiding on Tantooine. The beautiful thing was, he was using a Vendor in a player city with his back to me, and he was on the floor before he could draw his weapon. Evil, cruel, unfair, it was a beautiful kill.
I got all the abuse why I wouldnt fight a higher level Jedi. My answer was simple, your easier.

Lol, well i did feel kinda guilty when he told me it would take him 5 hours solid grind to get back his experience. I recommended Kashyyyk along with 90% of the Jedi population.

My answer would be to stay off the terminals. If he was drawing a weapon and not a lightsaber then he must have still been a level 70-80.Seems like a fair fight to me. In real life if someone wants to kill you, they don't introduce themselves first, like for instance," Excuse me mr.jedi , my name is master bounty hunter and I have the unfortunate news to tell you that I am here to kill you so ON GUARD!"
Good kill. However the recomendation to go to kashyyk really wasn't neccessary was it?

ok just started huting jedi first mission the jedi was in house full templte came out we had a loong long fight, in the end my mind ran out an he won.
Next one on dant so i figue he might be dueling so i find him wait for him to start dueling and i incap him in 5 secs. i go to DB him and with it at about 99% he gets up and runs off, in the end he kills me. so i go out side to say nice fight and hes duling somone teh other jedi incaps him and BOOM hes dead, everyone screams exp[loit and i got pvp points for it, but i didnt db him the only thing i can think of was when he was so close to db before when he went incapped cause i was standing there it finished its cycle.?
so he still died cause i was hunting him that counts as a kill right ?
