This one is borderline, the Jedi knew you had been trying to collect the bounty on him so he should have been more on guard, but at the same time one generally expects some boundries with "friends". In the end I'm sure he was kicking himself more than being mad at you, as he congratulated you on your sneakiness.
If you had DB'ed him during the "No DB" duel, I would have said that was very wrong, as if you promise a friend no DB then DB'ing them with their bounty is just plain sick.

I love mean friendships. My best friend and I have been playing cruel (but relatively harmless) jokes on each other for close to twenty years now. If anyone else pulled the stuff he does, I'd beat them senseless, but when he does it, I just figure out an even more devious way to get back at him. Of course, my mailman thinks I'm nuts because I keep getting packages with the return address "Big Ed's House of Lube and Porn Emporium." I, on the other hand, keep signing him up for free offers on "male" enlargement. Ah, good times.

Hopefully my last? Bah.
Few things:
A) I like to Role Play. I'm a Bounty Hunter. That means I'd kill my own mother for money.
B) His fault for being off-guard. I woulda RAN out of the clone center.
C) He didn't mind... he congratulated me on my shrewdness. He's gonna help me get a really cocky Jedi later on this week who's been insulting me. So, there.
It's just a game, folks. Enjoy it! "Be the BH". lol

I had finally finished the llc grind and now i am a 3444bh/maste pistoleer. So me and 2 guildies decide to go do a little jedi hunting, so i head to kadaara and get 140k misssion and find out he's on dant. We hop my ship and take off. When we get to the imp outpost i send out a seeker for a update and we head to nod city. well we are about 2k out from the wp and my mark goes offline, and yes i was taking it personal...i thought it was just me. Well we get back to the imperial outpost and there is a jedi standing there in all his glory just talking and looking. So i dropped the last mission and go back to kadaara and get another, and low and behold there is the bounty of the jedi we just seen, so i took and and flew right back to the imperial outpost on dant and he's still standing there and i see ...oh my god..NO

Well when i see the mark fall i start spaming the db button, and was almost in tears when it kept telling me i couldnt db, well i finally incapped my mark and db him and we ran thinking back up was coming. A few minutes later i get a tell from him saying good job and now he's negitive xp after grinding 6 hrs and laughing about it. He told me his buffs just dropped when i attacked and congradulated me agian. Yes there was 3 of us, but i hope, and it does to me, sound like a good begining to a long bounty hunter career. Oh by the was, the shakes were so bad afterwards that i couldnt hold my tea glass still to take drink. LOL
