If the answer is yes, then you're not wrong. Just make sure that whoever tries to claim the bounty gets a few screenshots of the fight and the corpse for proof.

Jesus how do you HAVE that much credits?!?
I border average only around 7-9 mil myself, only b/c i hoard. But I also have to pay for resoruces when I can't find them and other things.

I have that much just from being a Smuggler (Yes selling faction is worth it ... in reference to another thread), any other adventure I have done has cost me money.
Currently I am at about $125,000,000 plus other assets (houses, maintenance, fun stuff)

I would have to say no he/she was not. But the attitude of "I can do what I want" and the method of the kill I didn't agree with. If the death happened 10 seconds later I would have had no complaints.
I also wanted to make this Jedi think twice before attacking me in the future to hopefully avoid some of the inconvenience.

My deffinition of being an ass isn't just the lines of mocking you after killing you. "I can do what I want" is the attitude of being an ass. I'm guessing whoever it was caught ya while you had a TEF, waited till you finished off the surrounding NPCs or mission, then took you out while meditating. That is being an ass. That's along the lines of something that happened to me roughly a two weeks after I started playing. I was minding my own business, getting a Rebel mission while grouped with my Grand Wrix(BEFORE THE NERF, HE WAS UBER! UBER I TELL YA! *UBER!*), I finished the NPCs, took the mission out, then this little blue dot came up while I was making my pet do tricks to heal his mind and foraging for food to heal his wounds(normally I used shadowpaw, but was out). Then, he suddenly shouts shouts "for the Empire" and PKs me while my HAM is still really low. Then he /tells me I should be glad he didn't touch my pet.
Well, he's the only person in my friends list, under the category "Marked for Death".
A couple months later he asked me to slice some of his stuff(obviously forgot about me), I refused and told him its because he was an ass. He challanged me to a duel, I think quickly, accept, told my pet to attack him, /feign, let him focus on the pet, I got back up, /lowblow & /panicshot(was still usefull in PvP), then take him out.
Moral of the story: Don't take advantage of a Smuggler and expect to get away with it.
By the way, keep the bounty. Jedi *should* be low profile and in hiding.

No, you're right! I have been thinking about this for a long time myself. Many wants player bounties - well go ahead and just MAKE them then, like you did! This is great, maybe people open up their eyes to actually do things like this by themselves without being hand-held by SOE all the time (Yeah you can actually make it the way you want it).
My only concern is that it would be almost impossible to have bounties on other players than jedis, but with sooo many new jedis coming, we're bound to see alot of people who will deserve bounties on their heads, he he.
$10 mill was quite heavy though as a standard for the average man! What would a reasonable prize be for someone's death? I'm not sure myself but probably not more than $5 at the highest in my opinion. But what the hell, I'm sure there are BH's out there who'll do it for 100k - gotta build up that reputation you know, he he
