If the answer is yes, then you're not wrong. Just make sure that whoever tries to claim the bounty gets a few screenshots of the fight and the corpse for proof.
I would have to say no he/she was not. But the attitude of "I can do what I want" and the method of the kill I didn't agree with. If the death happened 10 seconds later I would have had no complaints.
I also wanted to make this Jedi think twice before attacking me in the future to hopefully avoid some of the inconvenience.

Geevo is the Number One Guy when it comes to selling faction on Intrepid and is very well known and respected on the server. Gave me some sage advice when I started Smuggler. He is the Master's Master.

I will gladly give advice to all that want it ... all it takes is a /tell (from any server) ... worse case, I say get in touch later ... busy fighting ... (although if I am feigned death...I will gladly talk for hours)

I don't blame you one bit, and it adds great content. The people are mad are the ones that are basically on her side of the fence. I wouldn't want to see an fellow rebel jedi waxed.
On that note, I put out a 100k bounty on a jedi on my server because this idiot ran in the force cave where I was soloing and aggroed a mob onto me and forceran out leaving me with the check. I got to see his arse die myself.

For Jedi, (Knight+) they are perma-overt
So any overt reb (or BH with the mission) can do it.
