most jedi dont like being hunted, and many cities are also "forced" to protect their citizens as good as possible. That leads to city bans.
As you can see, I am a jedi, and the guild I belong to have for a long time banned most BH that come hunting jedi. One day I where crafting inside my house (a new saber!) more then 6 BHs hit around on short time. This was early CU, and I was worth about 170k I think. Each time a BH hit around for me, they got a ban. Imperial or Rebel. There are many reasons for this:
1. We dont want BHs in our city!
2. We want to avoid that if rebels hit around for PvP (they are not banned) and a BH is among them,
they could not use our BH terminal to pick jedi as a mission, while doing PvP
3. We dont want BHs that have hunted our jedi earlier, to later on join our city. Anyone who try
to join, but cant enter the guildhall etc. Have been at some point been banned, and are as such
not allowed to join our city. We dont want them!
This is the prize you BHs have to pay. You know what you risk when taking up BH of Jedi. just as much the Jedi know what they are up to when they get on the terminals. If you dont want to be banned from cities - dont hunt Jedi! Just as much as if Jedi dont want to be hunted by BHs - dont get on the terminals! its your choise, as much as our choise.
Deal with it
I wouldn't be a bit surprised (or disappointed) that if, when he does get online, he deletes this entire thread.

I would. Corr's can't delete threads.
And with the same sentiment in mind, I would like to dedicate the song "Detachable Pen1s", also by King Missile, to all the whining Jedi out there.

Sorry, who's crying in this thread? "Whaaa, they won't let me play in their sandbox!!!!!"
While I personally don't ban anyone other than the obvious a$$hat griefers (I mean real griefing, not the marginal stuff), I wholeheartedly support the virtual owners of virtual property to exercise their virtual rights in managing that property.
The OP poster's argument reminds me of the following:
OP: "Whaaaa!! Mommy (SOE)! The neighborhood kids won't let me play with their toys in their yard! Not even if I beat them up!"
Mom: "If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times: stop using their yard for a toilet, or play somewhere else."
OP: "But Mommy! There's no where else to play, I've pooped in everyone's yard!"
/sigh

Ok this is the mess im in now on gorath most jedi have the best crafters on the server, of course...Jedi, in general, are the most dedicated players.
so to get the best weapons and armour you got to buy from them, but if you are banned from most citys and most jedi have the best crafters on the server, sounds like you should have spent a lil more time making friends then griefing people.
how can we as mbh get this good equipment, im not in a guild been kicked out of so many for hunting there jedi friends, if you've gotten to this point, you can't....this is a lesson you would do well to apply to any game world, even real life.
most crafter dont want to now me because ive killed there jedi or killed jedi they now , awww, im crying for you, seriously, whaaa
what can be done to help the most fear bh in the galaxy.guilds dont want to now me well the good ones dont cos i killed there poor jedi there is a difference between being feared, and being thought an idiot, after the first ban you could have wised up...but you didn't
now im being excluded from all good armour and weaponsmiths shops grats....end game condition, you beat SWG
ive been looking for 2 weeks 24 hours a day sucks when as the result of bh missions you have to spend hours and hours doing stupid, boring stuff, eh?
there is no bh guilds all jedi nowyou should have seen this coming a long time ago
can anyone help me delete your toon and start over from scratch...dont make the same mistakes twice
Yes, he should have seen this coming a long time ago. How dare he be something, anything except a Jedi. How dare he avail himself of some of the only decent content in the game. Yes, you're right... He should have learned his lesson a long time ago and just become a Jedi like everyone else. Then he wouldn't have to worry about bans like this, silly Bounty Hunter.
/sarcasm off
Ilpon, there must be a BH guild out there somewhere. I belong to one on Bloodfin, and we have experienced crafters that take care of these kinds of things so we don't have to worry about knee-jerk (with the emphasis on "jerk") reactions like this just because you happen to kill someone's friend and make the poor baby Jedi cry.
Fine, so we have one or two threads like this floating about. However, the majority of the whine being served with the cheese on these forums is from the Jedi about how they lost XP to the evil, evil Bounty Hunters.
This entire thread is madness. Cities can ban you for having the wrong type of clothes on if they want, its THEIR CITY. THEY PAY for the shuttle, THEY PAY for the maintenance on all houses in it, the shuttle wouldnt even be there ffs if it wasnt for them. As a very long term BH Im banned from just about every city on my server, either for bhing or for being an opposite faction pvper. This does not upset me in any way, its exactly what I'd do, to suggest its griefing or harassment is a joke. If a city doesnt want mbh in their city as a rule then thats up to them. If they dont like opposition faction pvpers being able to shuttle in as instant reinforcements in an attack, good tactics.
Tbh, I dont think I have ever shuttled into the exact town that a mark is in, thats just madness. A shuttle is normally centrally placed in a town. It normally has city residents standing around it or nearby. They normally know of their friends jedis that are nearby. They see a bounty hunter (new bh are generally easy to spot as they tend to head to a mark buffed/food/drink/armour/weps showing), and naturally tell their jedi mate. By the time you load in, jedi is in a house, waste of your time and theirs. And you pick up the cityban. Instead, shuttle in nearby, bike to the jedi, get the drop on them, kill them, and bike away, dont use the cities shuttle. Unless the jedi is the most level headed of militia members he is damn unlikely to /cityban you while fighting you, and as you bike away, unless a militia member is right there with him, you avoid the ban anyway.
As for the jedi/crafter thing. They pay the sub on that crafter. IG they pay for his resources, and they put in their own man hours to work that crafter, probably more than they put into their jedi if they are a server wide respected crafter alt. If that person not only puts in the time to grind themself a jedi, but to be damn good at a crafter prof as well, then who they hell is a single bh to tell them who they can and cant sell to. Good on them for their work IG imo. They made a jedi and an excellent crafter, kudos to them. If you want to put in half the effort they have to the game, respec to master armoursmith, make your armour, then grind out master weaponsmith, make your weapons, then regrind your bh template. Now you have the weapons and armour you need, and it will still have taken maybe a tenth of the time it took them to grind their jedi and establish their name as a great crafter. As an aside there isnt one single crafter alt that refuses to sell to me/make me orders up. They accept business is business, and generally have had so many bh that they dont really remember any single one unless you did something special to annoy them, in which case you deserve the ban.
As a bh for all my time ingame, which stretches back a long way before I ever registered with the forums, this entire thread sickens me. Whining about jedi exercising their right ingame to deny you access to something they pay for, work to get, and pay to maintain is possibly the most stupid whine I've ever heard from any prof in the history of SWG, and I vote for thread deletion on the grounds that this makes bh as a whole look like total £$*!s.

Garva, Virrago (did I spell that right?), I believe TH and Tiggs. Basically people with yellow or red names, as they're SOE employees. Corr's are not.

Oh. My mistake. Who does delete them? Someone totally unfamiliar with the spirit and tenor of the forum. Or whom, then?
