Master fencer/master rifleman/medic would be better... but it all comes down to what you enjoy. Fencer and rifleman aren't very star-warsy to me.... but that's just my opinion.

First template would work only if you are speed capped with attachments, but not having medic can really hurt in pvp. If you can afford attachments I would go pistols if not head over to the rifle department.

Pistols are only good in pvp if you are speed capped or close to it, Last ditch does 3x the damage a second when speed capped(with a 2.7 speed geno).

I agree with him 4000 because 0400 only giveu things you can use with a fencer weapon.

Right now I am 0/0/4/4 saber, 2/0/02 Enhance and 2/2/0/3 Healing. Was planning on doing MLS, Master Healing and 4/0/0/4 Enhance. But I am getting my ass kicked still in the squill cave or the jinda cave on endor when I get a large spawn agrod on me. The Toughness does not appear to me to be helping reduce the damage I am taking. So I am wondering if others think it is borked (which would not surpise me) or if I should consider going MLS 4/4/0/4 healing and everything left into Defender to help lower the damage I take? I got hit by 5 jinda master warriors or whatever in the cave today and they were hitting me for 400 pts or more of dmg so I actually had to forcerun away which I don't do against lairs!

This is a reason im now doing 4xxx defender, 14 jedi toughness and 90 melee defence should help for PVE.

Well you need to take a step back and first realize that grinding out Jedi in these locations is not that great of an idea... you obviously dont care about BH's showing up in force as you will land on the terms 24/7 for doing just this. Elite Jindu fighters... what did you expect?? They are going to toss you sideways and give you more pain! Your just a Padawan right now... even as a knight, unless you have defender skills, many types of mobs are gonna hit you HARD. So yes, take 4000 defender tree to save yourself the grief for PvE and change it out later if needs be.
My suggestion would be to take powers 0040 for aoe intimidate 2 ... this will at the least, HALF the damage you take as intimidate effects the amount of damage your foes do.
Good luck!

Hey guys,I am thinking of going this template:
MLS, 4/0/0/3 Enhancer, 4/0/0/4 Healer, 4/0/0/0 Defender, Novice Brawler.
I think it is a very good 1v1 and JvJ template which is whatI plan on doing mostly. I am a bit concerned with the CURB that I cant use Novice Brawler or they will nerf Intimidate out of it. So my question is should I stick with this template or will Novice Brawler be nerfed so do you guys know a better 1v1/JvJ template in case of the CURB.

Im master doc and CM 4004 so as you might guess I am a complete light weight in PvP stuff. Im working on rifles now as my combat prof but having got half way through it am starting to have second thoughts. Am i better getting some sort of melee prof as the current trend in PvP is I poisen a few people then everything ina 5 mile radius seems to come steaming in and giving me a good kicking. I have no idea what to do here, drop doc? drop rifles? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently, Master Rifleman Doc 4030 and CM 4004, its pretty effective in pvp, I can keep my group alive with area heals, both poison/disease and ranged stims. I can throw decent Area poisons, which can keep other people occupied keeps them off me. The only set back to this template is that jedi will compeletely OWN you, I usually die in 5 hits from a jedi, stackers are not a big problem, even if i cant hit them the poison does the job for me. But yeah I am a big target, but my guildies allways try and keep me alive especially if i am the only doc with them, but this template is really fun i went from 1000 pvp rating to 1600 in 2 1/2 weeks
