If your goal is to toss poison and then sit back and heal your team you might try getting the def line of pistols. It is one of, if not the, best def lines in the game. At least then you will not be so easy to kd/dizzy.


However, the template listed above is also very nice mix of doc/CM/fighter. The only down side is that your buying all your meds.

Will almost soly be used for PVP...mainly other jedi.... but there will be a mix of high level creatures and NPC's (Krayts, Nightsisters, ect).....and will be used primarily in a group.

Hi guys. I'm in the middle of force grinding right now and trying to revamp my template so I can make it passed the quests and to Paddy. I have a habit of trying exotic templates. I don't want to make the same mistake with Jedi and spend my points in the wrong place.


I'm unlocking melee defense, ranged defense, melee speed, survival, melee accuracy and vehicle control.


Should I spend try to convert all 250 to Jedi skills or are there some best left elsewhere? If so where please? Any links where great templates are spoken of would be awesome. I don't want to try and re-invent the wheel again only to be frustrated again. I want to do it right the first time so I'm looking to the experts for advice. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok, i've been thinking about different templates for a while, and haven't been able to decide on what i want, so i'm asking for help


First of all, i don't give a rats ass about the FRS. I have no intention of going to knight until they give the whole thing an overhaul, so i won't be planning on having to go against any other jedi in the forseeable future. I also won't be doing much pvp against others, i'm not much of a hardcore player and my attitude to pvp is that i can take it or leave it, i don't really care about it either way. That being said, i will expect to have a bh visit occasionally so will need a template to give me a fighting chance there.


I will be more concentrated on going on pve hunts with my guild, which i want to be fun and not result in me getting killed every 30 minutes. I also don't care too much about solo'ing NS elders etc.


The template i was looking at today would be something along the lines of

MLS

Healer 4 - - 4

Enhancer 3 - - 2

Powers - 4 4 -


Would that be able to achieve what i'm looking for?

- good in pve

- be able to handle the occasional BH, even if that means running away

- and most importantly, be fun


If anyone has any better suggestions, feel free to inform me

well for now leave them where they are and only convert when you are ready to...Believe me it will be a long time before you are ready to complete your template...

I'm currently a master commando working on master tka. for my last fs tree i plan on getting persuasion, so i was going to drop my commando skills except grenades unless i'm done with combat xp by then, then drop all the marksman skill, and then work on my medic skills to get the xp for persuasion. then i'll still have tka and some medic to help me out as a padawn jedi. my question is, how much medic should i take to grind out this one tree? should i just master medic, or should i go ahead and work up the doctor tree as well? or combat medic? i'm planning on grenading my way to all the combat xp i need in a few weeks or a month taking my time, then have a month or two to work on medic and the last tree. thanks for your help,

well here's the thing, i think you need at least master medic to get the persuasion tree, however, when you head into the padawan grind you need to cap your melee and ranged defenses, Life sucks without compositearmor....so you'll need thistemplateas minimum to make your life barable in the padawan grind....At least TKA 4/0/0/4, and Fencer 4/0/0/0 with at least medic 2/0/4/0 so you can use stimpack D's,i would really recommend TKM so you can handle the odd npc the needs killing.


and if your last tree is persuasion, and you have filled you 5 out the 6 trees, then you no longer required the grenade tree in commando either.

Hmm I'm thinking maybe a nice TKM/CM/Doc Combo would be great for a levelling jedi pada atm, seeing as we are all screwed on the tef changes.

Since u will have nearly no defense i recommand at least nov. doc for curing states...cm helps not that much cuz if ureach spd.-capped swordsman will deal more dmg. than your stacked poison will do...and btw. the fs melee def. is waste of sp...go for enhanced melee spd....helps lots more than melee def....

you ll do fine with the master medic part, just keep plenty of heals on hand, im a mdoc/mswords fs melle speed and ranged/melee defs and healing, i rock worlds with my hammer, work on getting fs melee speed , you will do alot better with your mind poisons and headhit 3 then most of these goofballs realize, i solo knights with all those doc defs i have, in 5 secs. lol. so im telling you you will do well, but in my opinion mdoc/mswords is the ultimate profession for anything in swg, i made the mistake of going rifles, had ns spellweavers chase me all the way back to science outpost. lol. now im back solid as swords/doc, i like my buff line, im always first, something to think about.

If you are a strait pvper and dont care about PVE all that much and soloing stuff..thats a good temp, buy some 800 tick mind poisons and diseases and then just spam head hit 3. (and use synsteak,90%,and thakkilo for improved def)
