That's Mandalorian armor, and no.

A while back when the new craft system came out I had figured out how to get armor onto a pet pretty easily. I did this by experimenting with the Phys until it was over 55% (when DNA in Phys Slot had armor).

I made so many pets when the new system came out, I did not have to make any for a month.. LOL

Now I need to restock and can't figure this out.I can't generate a single DNA template with armor. I have tried Mutant Rancor, TMBL,Blurrg etc..

Anyone know whats up?

This info is in other posts. Experimentation % means nothing. It's the Fortitude number that matters. This must break 500.

The problem I've been seeing is too many BE's push for armor and neglect the other stats. Thus ending up with pets that have 10k Health but only 2-4k Action and Mind. That light armor doesn't do much good when there's such a low AM, especially with mobs and players attacking the lowest pool if they are able to.

Look at it this way, armor is a 50% reduction in damage to non-vulnerable resists. If you hadn't pushed for the armor and were able to increase the AM by 50% you accomplish a the same goal because the pet would be able to take as many hits to that pool as it would with the armor.

Keep in mind the closer you get to the 500 fortitude mark the easier it will be on the next generation to reach that goal if you're adding more dna with over 500 fortitude.

Fortitude needs to be over 500, simple as that.

Sorry about empty post. Question is this. I have a composite body armor, that is at 26000 of 35000 condition.
Does that mean it is not as effective? it says 82% kinetic protection and 62% elec. everything else is at 48%. It only cost 3k on bazaar so if its not proctective anymore i can dump it or sell it,I just don't want to be walking around thinking "Yep, you can't hurt me little bunny rabbit" where in reality i am wearing a paper bag. I have only been playing 3 days so pls forgive my ignorance.

Wow. 3k? You got lucky.

I think it does effect the overall protection, but it shows up on the items stats. So, if the damage protection goes down due to condition, you can see them go down on the stats; Otherwise, they'll update with the condition.

Yes it is worth getting more. If you can afford you should get the whole suit but if your just starting out i would recommend getting like basic things like the helmet and pants. Gloves and boots look good with it but honestly dont do much for ya, cept for bring up your encumbrance.

Is Ubese armor the best to use for Fencer? (Or any brawler for that matter)
Right now I'm not using any armor, just pants and a shirt.
I don't like the Encumbrance that most armor gives. And if Ubese is good to use, does anyone have a
recommendationfor an Armorsmith on Starsider?

Thanks

Ubese is great PvE armour, but as far as PvP goes, I personally think it's either Comp or you're better off without (unless it's a duel with a TK, then ubese is alright).

Don't get me wrong, running around unarmoured will get you squashed (I should know, I don't own composite. Tried with Ubese, tried without anything), but often enough your opponent'll just switch to a damage type your armour's vulnurable to anyway.

I use 69% kinetic ubese whilst doing pve on creatures. This works pretty well. If I will be going against humanoid targets (with non kinetic attacks) I have a suit of composite that does the job.

I am also on Starsider, and buy my armour in Braxis on Naboo. A full suit of either there will cost you around 200k.
