Seems to me that they are just trying to stall us unitl space expansion so we forget about the bugs we have and say 'weeeeeeeeee I'm flying!!!!!'


1. Player Bounties.... one more time Player Bounties. Jedi are fun to hunt dont get me wrong but even if I was a mere Rifleman or other combat proffesion and was minding my own buisness in the cantina having a drink and a boutny hunter came in blasting away at me I would love it! Why? Its Star Wars for the love of god.


2. I can see why you cant lower the skill cost for BH. Why do you ask? That would jsut open the flood gates to even more dabblers in our Proffesion.


3. Jedi Player Boutnies, and other future player boutnies, Master BH ONLY!!!!


4. Increase either our Offense or Defense for the Love of God. Or both I dont think we care.


5. Fast Blast was a sick joke Devs... the parties over get real we need something better.


So many more issues I just dont have the time to write this crap again.

1) PC bounty missions (add them)... not just jedi, and move the ability to hunt jedi/ PC to master bounty hunter instead of INV 3

2) ADD more Defense and Offense to our profession (fix broken specials ie Fast Blast).

3) Either give us More skill points then 33 after mastering bounty hunter, or make the requirements less .. no need to have Master scout ....

4) More content for Bounty Hunters... add Bounty Hunter specific quests like ARMOR, WEAPONS, Gadgets

5) Add TRAPS useable on Player characters! not just animals :/

  1. If you have a seeker droid that is in track mode and it is already sending back updates, taking a shuttle on planet will cause CTD at next update. This continues until tracking is complete. If you manage to take a shuttle before the first update, it is fine.

  2. Marks do not spawn even though seeker droids and Ranger tracking say mark is in area. This has been a major problem since Publish 6. I have seem to reduce this for myself by not depending on the seeker droids as much. Once I have a direction of a mark, I track them down without sending out any more droids. Spawning success increase for me when I do this.

  3. I have only tracked a Jedi once, but using find and track on a seeker seems only to find the jedi at first update and then returns the same location for the rest of the updates. The seeker does not track the jedi until you send out another seeker droid.

And please, factional head-hunting, ie. player marks other than jedi would be wonderful, and moving jedi marks to Master level. I know some do not agree with this, but, it is something "I" would like to see.





YES! there are too many BH on Tarq now just for the invest line and jedi hunting at 3. The influx of these people are going to errode the core foundation of BH. Most of these people didn't care about BH before Jedi hunting was fix so why should they after....Move em to MBH.

This is why I disagreed with Investigation experience boost. That was not a fix, in my opinion. It created a situation where those who are seeking the content that the Bounty Hunter profession has, are able to too easily master this profession.

and to think it took me 5 months to master bh. only took a month and a half to get to 2/4/4/4.

Not even master but just for far enough to get our "only" content in the game. But not suffer the sacrifices that we've taken so far with the nerfs.

1. Invisible marks and other bugged BH missions (This isn't a big deal for the MBHs, but it is for the novices)


2. Increase the payout at MBH. At the moment we can make better money doing regular destroy missions than we can doing BH missions. We should be able to make as much with BH missions as we can with destroy missions


3. We either need defenses or a more powerful offense. Our offense isn't enough to punch to other classes defenses, and we don't have any defenses of our own.


4. It would be nice to get a carbine. We currently get a pistol and a heavy weapon, but we don't get anything special for our carbine line.


5. Jedi exploits need to get fixed. The main one that jedi are using is logging out and back in, which makes our droids report that the jedi is offline.

1) Increase mission payout exponentially.


2) Increase mission payout exponentially


3) Increase mission payout exponentially


4) Restore prior BH scenario "high offense/low defense"


5) Fix various bugs.



(I put bug fixes on the bottom because we can at least somewhat function now, it wouldnt hurt for a quick fix to our mission payout formula in the meanwhile.)

Items in order from most important to least important (IMHO of course).


  1. Eliminate grind feel in investigation

    • PC/NPC traps*** - with corresponding Inv xp gain
    • More interesting NPC missions, such as the guards at higher levels as suggested by others.
    • More player bounty opportunities*
    • Fixed missions**

  2. Give us true offensive dominance

    • PC/NPC traps*** or specials targeted at PC/NPC for the purpose of capture, stopping someone, or lowering defence.
    • Higher accuracy bonuses, particularly for LLC, or make accurate weapons more damaging. defence lowering+stopping to set up LLC suitable alternative.
    • Armor penetration capability?

  3. Make master worth something

    • All lines of BH should be worth something!
    • Higher paying, and perhaps unique missions at master*
    • Specials that are worth something
    • Maybe this is where strong offense could be tipped into best offense

  4. Increase scouting relevance

    • Fix scout! (particularly survival line)
    • PC/NPC traps***
    • Hunting is irrelevant to BH. Any way to make it more like ranger tracking? we don't need all the creature-oriented stuff.
    • Explore seems somewhat relevant, at least



*If you add other player bounties, bump the jedi ones to master, for example. Simply to "prevent dabblers" is not, in my opinion, a worth while reason.

**I hesitate to list bug fixes with game design issues. I'm referring to bugged NPC missions, as well as PC missions.

***Despite the fact I list PC/NPC traps 3 times, I can't say its as big a deal to me directly as its recurrance suggests. However, the fact that it comes up 3 times I think is an attestation to its usefulness in addressing other issues.

Some perspective:

I like dabbling! That's the main reason I even considered this game. I've "dabbled" in ranger (tracking), pistoleer, and medic while pursuing BH, and plan to dabble in carbine as well. If someone else wants to spend all those points on master scout and marksman to dabble in a bit of BH, let them.

Compensate the MBHs commensurate with the fact that they have spent 217 points rather than just dabbling in a single line of BH, and therefore cannot do further substantial dabbling in other professions. Note that I've put the "Master worth something" as 2nd to last in the above list. If every line of BH was worth something, then 4/4/4/4 would be worth something (and that's 216 skill points right there).

What I don't want, is the investigation line to remain nothing but a grind to get master. I have seen value in all but this one line, which is why I put that at the top.

1:fix the jedi off-line exploit


2:give LLC better acc. and make it do force damage mean it would hit there force bar(ya ya i know ...)


3:give us defences or better offince


4: fix bugs with investigation


5: give us traps that work on PC/NPC's
