Thread: Fishing
I love fishing - notonly is it a source of essential omega 3's it is also a source of WILDERNESS SURVIVAL XP. Not much - but something. Anyhow I would like to see a use for this meat, perhaps having it as a "wild card" type of meat that would be used as a replacement in schematics to avian, herbavoire or whatever type meat. I think it would be great and it would create a new class of profession - the fisherman - without having to change the game much.
Oh and they look great hanging on the walls of homes, halls etc..
Once you get the bait (Bazaar is easiest) just drag and drop the bait onto the fishing pole. I was surprised how fun it is, plus the fish look cool hanging in my house.

Where is the meat from the fish after you filet them? Is it the chum bait or is it the actual fish I dont see any fish meat anywhere after I filet the fish.
btw here is a great guide to fishing:

Yeah fishing is kinda slow. I spent countless hours on Naboofishing for just over 2000 units of good fish for my BE friend (OQ 901). Well, actually my wife did the fishing. She's my AFK Fishing macro so to speak.
It would be nice to get more meat per catch. Typically I get 1-5 units with some rare areas given 8-17 units for a lttle while.
Something does need to be done.
-------
I can hunt for 4-5 hours and get about 3-4k meat
I can manually sample for 4-5 hours and get 1.5K resources on a good deposit (taking advantage of concentrations, etc)
I fish for 4-5 hours, with a 99% pole and my master scout and I get 450 units of fish. It's a bit out of balance.
-------
I'm not sure a droid, net or harvester is the way to go, but a 100% to 150% increase in resources obtained from a single fish would put this in line with harvesting other resources.
At the very least Fishing should become a fun minigame (note to Devs:It currently is one of the most boring time-wasters in the game)
