Everyone I talk to says that Gurks on Lok are the best for leveling swordsman...just make sure you have at least 80% kinetic armor...i tried it with my 70% ubese...didn't turn out too well.

Go master doc master swords. Great template. Buff-own-own-own-buffs wear off-do it over again.

Thanks for the help but I was really wanting to know in what order I should fill my skill boxes. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.

I have definately been wanting to try doc/swords, tho I think pistols/rifle would be more fun

First off let me start by saying thank you for those that are willing to help me with my template!! With that said here is my proposed Template as I see it. I am looking for PVE only I don't like PvP that much. Never have probly never will.

Looks pretty good to me, as another PVE player. The only issue you may run into is that you have no scout, which will slow you down. I have been having a problem lately with mobs running away, forcing me to chase them down. Also, the higher into TK I get, the more I see "mob warp" come into play. Very frustrating to be hitting something, then all of a sudden the target is 100m+ away.
However, everyone may not have that problem. These are some issues I have encountered. Your defense should be good and you can stack up states on mobs.

Not really if he is going for an all melee template. Otherwise it could help solve the issue of warping by having a ranged weapon to fall back on (i.e. Master Pistoleer with Master TK), but then some other changes would have to be made as well.

I miss two things...A bit of scout(1000) and some medic...doing strictly pve imo u will need both...havin high defense helps u next to nohing while fighting high-end-mobs...since the npcs got there specials back they can deal serious amounts of damage and some likenightsisters or krayts(giant canyon and ancient) doing lightsaber specials witch bypass any armor...havin some lesser nightsister on u and bleeding for +400 while those **edit** choke your a$$, trust me.... u will never thing about droping medic skills...

I disagree on scout, clever use of vehicles/mounts and taunt can solve all the problems I'm seeing people talk about here....so I think the template looks fine for a pve only character, save for maybe you want to look into some medic like others have suggested..

I found it quiet handy when running up a hill on dath...sure not a most have but doing strictly pve these 17 sp dont hurt and with a nice droid(+105 boni on harvest)u canloot ahigh amount of meat and make some good cash while leveling....on gorath docs paying up to 300cpu for good meat....

my advice is to stay away from the pistoleer profession.
cause to start off you have to spend 15 points on marksman then work your way up to pistoleer for attacks that do little dmg and dont work half the time

"stay away from the pistoleer profession"
...Unless you like it when people can't do a posture down or KD on you, then by all means take it.
