Regardless if my friends think there is a problem or not has no bearing on your (CH community) feelings. Like I said before your feelings are all valid with me and I will never argue with anyone about something they feel passionate about.
Now I will say in my opinion when multiple people feel the same way about how something works/ isn't working it only confirms that 1. something may be broke, 2. Something was not communicated properly on how it should have worked and it is taken as being broken or 3. however something is working is not working for the community. My job is to relay it to the team so we can figure out which it is and correct the problem... one of the reasons for this thread =)
So thank you for your input and for reminding me that with some professions I need to keep it on a more professional level then a laid back one so my words don't get twisted around. .

Here are my observations:
You like your job. You like your job so much that you are willing to follow this up at home (or are getting serious overtime). For that alone, I can find a positive spin.
Unlike other posts derrogatory to CH delivered prior (by others) you seem to be trying to work through this mis-speak (others were not). Something the CH community had not received. For that I can give you respect. It makes me feel much better.
I think JFreeman is the stuff and you will be too with the same ethics you are showing (much similiar to his). CH needs someone willing to do the work from that side of the fence. We just need Devs who are willing to talk more.
For that you have my gratitude.
I still hold the offer for you to hunt Valcyn as proof the pets running when they get a dizzy attack is just as valid today as it was when we posted it.
PS. left the top snipets to show I did not challenge whether you actually turned this in to your superiors.

Funny, you don't sound like someone who has ever seen or taken part in a live event of some entertainers or an entertainer guild to me. Are you a live Master Dancer or one of those buff bots who fears for his income?
finally all servers now host a live entrtainer chat channel i believe where live entertainers can be found to buff or heal you before all the masses of people who love buffbotts whine about how they can never find a live entertainer why dont you actually try finding one most dont they just go straight to the buffbott right off because you dont have to tip takto or respect a buffbott its an inanimate object and it has ruined 3 entire professions. and if afk gameplay is so ok by the devs then why is afk leviling on the roof considered an exploit for jedi

The devs and founders of this game were very explicit from Day 1 that intelligent macro-ing and a reasonable amount of AFK were part of the game. You can read articles and interviews out the wazoo that confirm this viewpoint.since when is reasonable afk completly macroing an entire profesion this is exsessive and unresonable
Over the course of time in game development it is perfectly reasonable to expect that a mafia of socializer type Dancers and Musicians would evolve and (human nature being what it is) that they would want to "own" the profession and control all advancement and rewards within the profession while squeezing out everyone they do not control, particularly the AFK's in place to service other communities. That is the nature of the beast.mafia own Gee im sorry all we want is to be able to play our profession and make enough credits at it to survive in the game without having to take another profession if we dont choose to how is his wanting to own the profession and shut everyone else out. i dont want to own the profession i welcome compatition from players who actual;ly play the game however afk is not a play style its a non play style
Nevertheless the interests of those other communities who need BF healing on a consistent basis is at least as worth of Dev respect and consideration as the special pleadings of the Fleshwrap Cos Nostra. Their focus is on the NPC cities and their chosen few private cantinas. But most of your customer base is scattered elsewhere. if you were a dancer before christmas which i doubt by the way you descrive ancers you would know that this isnt the way it used to be we were driven out of the cantinas by buffbotts i used to kknow tons of dancers and yes masters who would dacne in all manner of location s and never hesitated to travel to buff or healsomeone even if we didnt get tipped that stopped with the afk infestation and the complete lack of community repspect we gained along with it
If the socializers had made some special effort to cover the Galaxy, they might deserve special game protection. But they have done no such thing. They just want to force everybody to kowtow and /tip them as the undisputed Lords of the Blue Bar regardless. And I am here to tell you that your working player will have none of it. again why are we going to make an effort to cover h galaxy whne we do there a buffbott there or we ger harrassed and disrepected by the people there
Most BF healing occurs in the boonies in private dwellings and cantinas where your squad of Forum whiners here never venture. Most Entertaining takes place outside their clutches. im sorry but again most live entertainers are willing to travel to heal you even go to dungeons or on hunts wihth you to heal and buff along the way if you ask them nicely treat hem with recpecnt and omg and i now this is hard for you actually tip them once in a while
You would do well to remember the needs of SWG's whole population, not just a squeaky-wheel subset.

You couldn't possibly be more wrong if you had tried.
That is NOT what she is saying at all, and it takes some SERIOUS twisting of words to arrive at that conclusion. She made one offhand comment on how some of her more vocal CH friends weren't complaining, but that in no way means that "nothing we say matters" or that "we are all wrong".
I've been a pretty avid and passionate CH for nearly a year now, and yes, there are things that need some work. But frankly the behavior being displayed in this thread embarasses me.
Tiggs, I hope you can look past the double-handfull of bull-headed people we have posting here and get a bit closer with our community. I absolutely enjoyedthe discussions you were involvedwith during the JTL Beta. You are doing a heckuva job. Keep it up.
I am a non guilded Master Dancer who gained that title in November 1993 and who does not give a flying flapjack about whatever live events you are referring to. I have never buffbotted and I never will. But when my other characters need repair in the wilds of various galaxies, it is invariably in distant player cities and four times out of five it is an AFK entertainer of some sort who is providing the service. It would be nice if the socializing lobbyist brigade would not EVEN try to convince me that they are going to come out there to BumfuqueTown and replace that AFK townie's toon when they're finished making him illegal. It's not going to happen.

This is what I do. I travel with a house and a crate of tents or stay in an outpost cantina..wherever I'm hired to be. Groups pay me well to be available for their quests & hunts. You may say it is not going to happen, but it is happening already.

Dancer has two major issues with it right now.
1) AFK entertaining. No professions other than dancer, entertainer, and musician can be played completely afk all the time by a macro. This has resulted in a massive number of afk buff bots and healers that has completely ruined any economic viability for live players. We have no advantages over afk players other than our ability to be social with our customers. And, sad as it is, our ability to be social isn't enough =/
2) Broken base dances. It is my understanding that this is simply a fundimental flaw with how the game handles player movement. But, the bug which causes a base dance to display oddly to everyone but the dancer ruins the formal, lyrical, and new theatrical dance. This limits our dancing options a lot
I always tip my buffbots i cannot do without them!!! You know most of the time I dont want to sit their and talk to an entertainer or dancer or musician. They are in their world and I in mine! ALL I want is my mind healed and possibly a buff. Last time Italked toa live Musician/Dancer, he said he didn't like how I asked for the buff. (NOT ANYTHING TODO WITH MONEY, JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT I WANTED MY BUFF AND TO LEAVE!). So I use buffbots mostly now. 1)Their easier to deal with. 2)Their usually faster, and 3) they dont demand payment. And besides with JtL a few days away Entertainers will be getting all the exp they can shake a stick at. (Also sense their entertainers they should not be able to demand that I pay them) IT SHOULD BE MY CHOICE! And lastley BEING A DANCER, ENTERTAINER, AND MUSICIAN IS MIND NUMBINGLYBORING!
Hey don't 1 star me ive tried it, I know you can agree that doing the same 20 moves ALL day long is borning as hell. what about the same 8 songs? ( dont know how many offically their, are just guessing). After you heard them for 1 day you want to go afk. Least I did for the day or so i was an entertainer.
I am NOT an entertainer. but i hear the same old line comming from these professions which is basicaly "NERF RECURSIVE MACROS".
I like to write macros and ive got plenty of DETAILED macros that can do just about ANYTHING. I don't want to lose my macro abilities just because some entertainers/musicians and dancers want them to be done away with. Ohh and the last complaint "YOU DONT MAKE ANY MONEY". FIRST OFF. YES YOU DO! Second off, Im a smuggler YOU TRY LIVING SELLING SPICE OR FACTION! Or anything else a smuggler can do. You know not how poor we are. It cost us 80 credits to buy 1 faction point. then the delegation pentalty, then the money you will make. You try explaining to somebody that they are being triple borked for faction! And our spice? I refuse to even start on how crappy it is to make spice at this time!
