Can they legally detect a third party program? In a nutshell: No.
By searching outside of the SWG clients memory space, that could possibly be construed as "hacking" (in the most liberal usage of the word). However, they (SOE) could legally search using this method by modifying the EULA to force you into accepting this. (1)

(1) ICQ tried this a long time ago - it ran through your windows PCs registry and drive looking for programs that might be warez. Someone sued them, and ICQ got their *** handed to them on a silver platter in court.
Note...the /nextCraftingStage; can be abbreviated to "/next;"
You can condense the basic grind macro into something more like this:
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/selectdraftschematic 13;
/pause 4;
/next;
/next;
/createp practice noitem;
/createp practice noitem;
/pause 1;
etc...etc...
Also, if you are standing near a crafting station while you are grinding, then this crafting macro won't work. To get it to work around a station, you need an extra "/next;" I just make sure to step away from the crafting stations when grinding.
Also, the length of the pauses may need adjusting to compensate for your connection speed, lag, and temperment of the server, but you can get to really high grinding speeds with this when you have about 8 ormore crafting tools in the macro and you just cycle through them until you need more resources. For crafting professions, macros are your friend.
Now about this DNA sampling thing...argh!
What is the easiest way to get meat ? The time I spend crafting no way compares to the time it takes me to get the ingredients.
What do you guys do to get large quantities of meat ?
Killing big things. Heh.
I have friends who harvest meat for me when they are leveling various skills... it helps a lot. Otherwise, you have to pay severely inflated prices for the meat.
Hello, fairly new crafter here.
I was trying to set up that awesome macro you shared for grinding out micro nutrients. I loaded the macro up as macros.txt as stated, but I do not know how to get it to a place where I can execute it. I believe I have to use Alias, but like I said before, I am rather a noob at crafting.
I am however loving BE!
I'm not a holo-grinder, but I don't particularly like to craft things (creatures are ok, but the grinding to get them makes me not as happy).
The aliases/macro posted in this thread is awesome. I can't stress enough how great this thing is. I reccomend that anyone who is interesting in getting master quickly to play around with the fun clone system use it. I got probably 20-22k exp in about half an hour which is outstanding.
Hmm i tried to use that macro. I saved it as a .txt put it in my folder yet the command /load (name.txt) doest work said unable to load "macro.txt" suggestions?

Fully automated DNAsample macro:

Put this into top right box and leave char in trash dense area, like Theed outskirts. 2.5k sample xp per hour, just remember you have to clean inventory often.
I had the 8 step auto macro condensed down to 1 macro and finished the grind to Novice with it yay! Course when I relogged and came back almost half of it was missing so I did need to resplit it into 2 macros. Stiull 2 macros, 8 crafting tools and a mouse and I'm ready to zom as soon as I get some more materials.
Sampling has been a blast. I got about 3k in an hour last night, but since I'm Novice TKA I went ahead and picked up cu pa and jundland eopie missions over at Anchorhead and got some good XP from them. I beleive they both give in the 138XP area. One of em may have been 159, I can't rememebr right now.
I started BE thanks to the holiday holo but I think it's a nice pairing with TKA and I'll continue thru it and probably end up keeping it. The guy who installed mein EDH it turns out was Unarmed 4 working on TKA Novice and he ALSO got BE for his holocron so I shared teh macro with him and we sat down and finished up novice together. Heh, yeah I can tell this is gonna be lots of fun.
