nice, you should go hunt Dark Jedi Masters with that skillcombination. The rancors are toast for sure

well i might with armor, but even as a wookiee, i am limited to my tanking ability, but doesn't mean i won't give it a shot or 30.

i've been killing ancient bull rancors for the last week. no drops yet. they're a pain in the ass without a group to help, and it costs me 3k each time i die for insurance. so far i've killed almost 26, and still nothing. i'll keep you on top if i find something, though.
and also, can such things be found on regular bull rancors? those things i can kill 10 in a row without a problem. can i get a confirmation/denial of tooth possessions on the regular bull rancors (NOT ancient bulls).

aucutaly from what ive been told, they drop specificly from Bull rancors not ancients, but then again dont quote me on that.

look for any lair with one red dot outside of it. that's usually and ancient bull rancor or a kamurith snapper. they'll usually spawn about five or six at least, so that should keep you busy for about an hour (it does for me, anyway, unless i have friends). i usually head south from the Science outpost. rarely do i have to search over ten minutes to find one.
also, when you've killed one and are recuperating... be sure to move away from the lair. twice i've been chilling there over his corpse, resting up with no armor and the next one spawned on top of me. i hit it with bleeds since i knew i was going down, but when i came back, he was totally healed with no bleeds.
if anyone knows of a specific place that always has them, let me know, cause that would make it a lot easier.

but then you'd have no way to use your wrench on that pesky bolt. the tooth would never work as well anyway.

Bull rancors drop crappier ones. The ones I looted were from an ancient which I used to grind fencer with. A master pistoleer with a good dx2 or expert BH with scatter can kill an ancient rancor very quickly. For fun I tried one using fencer... was a lot of me dodging and it bleeding. With my dx2 it took about 40 seconds.
Anyway thought I'd just add in that in fact Ancients drop them and they seem to be fairly rare. One of the first 3 I killed dropped them, didn't get another in the next 25-30.
