Thank god we got chef tissues or I'd be SOL.

It looks like many of you are completely forgetting that non-CH pets are not supposed to be tanks. They were added in game as a pure entertainment item, so people who were not Creature Handlers could have a little Fluffy follow them around town. Since that addition, it has been apparently conceded by the devs that a lvl 10 pet should have a mild combat usefulness as denoted by their upcoming release of lvl 10 combat droids. If you want a tank, hang out with a Brawler or Creature Handler or be one yourself.
Look at lvl 10 natural animals. Their HAM is 900 to 1100, with resists being very minor to none. A Bio-Engineer's trademark is making enhanced pets that are better than what is found in the wild... however if you think making a lvl 10 pet with four times the natural power and rivaling a lvl 20 creature is appropriate for everyone to use, then you beon da ganja mon.
LOL. Yes they are all just little tamagotchi for us to entertain ourselves with. Tamagotchi play! Tamagotchi Hungry!

So does that mean the upcoming CL 10 combat droids that are advertised for next publish are just supposed to be fluffy pets too?

There doesnt seem to be any weaknesses either. Damage is quite high for a lvl 10.Sorry for not posting a pic, I dont know how.If anyone really doesnt believe me just mail me ingame and I will show you it. Im on the Chimaera server.I didnt even deliberately create it. I was just generation cloning something to have good specials and nice kinetic. The plan was to sample it and throw it back into the mix.I wont be destroying it now, obviously. But on the other hand I cant ethically sell it.Yeah a lvl 10 with 4k health and 14 kinetic I can square with just about, but this?Gonna give it to a non-CH mate to use until its made invalid. And I wont be trying to create another.
Nice creature, but I wonder why the level is so low considering the DNA that had to be used to get those two Abilities and in that order and considering the Ranged attack which needed another DNA type, so anywise...
This must prove my theory that a random system was implemented in the system for Creature Creation.
Because I dont see how level 30 DNA would yield a level 10 otherwise.
I made this:
Kaadu
DL 0 (5)
Vitality 100/100
Health 22 (229)
Action 13 (139)
Mind 15 (157)
Armor none
Kinetic 0
Heat/Cold/Electricity 5
Blast/Acid/Stun Vulnerable
Attack speed 2.18
To hit .21
Damage 5-10 (30-40)
Crippling strike
Mild poison
No ranged attack
This was made with NO experimentation on the template, using 'yard trash' DNA (nightspiders, flesh eating chuba, maybe a frail squall, from right up against the buildings of Narmle on Rori. No 'real' critters were used in this experiment).
Why am I posting this craptastic critter? When I tamed the deed, I received an insufficient skill to control this creature (though it went into my datapad). When I attempted to call the kaadu from the datapad, I received the same, along with a message telling me to use the pet trade-in system. I traded it to another non-CH, with the same results.
How is THIS pet invalid?? Dear god, if it breathes it must be invalid, judging from this example.
5 stars for Seshemw. The devs should see this. Four stars for the post and 1 for proper use of the word "Craptastic"
