can you tell me what the macro was so i coudl try sometime? never tried to solo something that big using tkm . the biggest thing solod with tkm was mokks.

I've seen this topic come up over the past year or so, and I'd like to revisit it. Specifically let's talk about Canyon Krayt Dragons. They have heavy armor, 350k ham, 60% kinetic resist. Are they possible?
Currently, I can easily take down a Juvinile Dragon (50k ham, medium armor, 40%? kinetic) in about 8 minutes with headhit. To fill my lust for premium dragon pearls, I'm thinking about trying to dance with a Canyon. I'm currently TKM, 0/0/4/0 Medic, 3/0/0/0 Scout, and some random Jedi skills. I know for a fact I can stand toe to toe against one. I've tanked Caynons and Giants when hunting with my friends. Even when knocked down, a Giant doesn't hit me for all that much, so I'm not worried about the damage from a Canyon.
Has anyone done this, how much time did it take, and would armor even last the battle? If I think about the math, a Canyon is at least 7 times stronger than a Juvie (350k ham divided by 50k ham), so it should at least take 7 times as long to drop (8 minutes * 7 = 56 minutes, ouch.) Adding the 20% resist and heavy armor, I'll take an educated guess and say it would be a total of 10 times longer (no math to back it up, just a guess.) So that would make 80 minutes for one Canyon Krayt Dragon.
Am I insane in trying this? Would a freshly crafted set of armor be able to hold together this long? Heck, would my keyboard last this long with button mashing?
Any constructive comments or feedback are welcome. If your feedback is mostly positive, I'll try this plan out this weekend.

Bring a spare chestplate and hotkey it ... you just might need it.

sure. had to once when the "tank" died. i was back shooting and had to throw armor onbut i finished it (and luckily the "tank" came back and healed me a couple times)

i took one out in about 40 minutes by using a flame thrower and flame single/flame cone. had a nice 2k tick on the dragon . but i took lots of dmg every few seconds. i went threw about 35 stim d's.
once i got the burn on i switched to my vk so i could take advantage of tkm tanking abilities.
if you are wondering if you should attempt one as a pure tkm ,i wouldnt withtout help from a CM or commando. otherwise you would be there for a really long time trying to kill it plus you are wide open to kill stealing happening to you.
some people think commando is pretty useless but i kinda like it for pve . its a bit slow at 3030 and as soon as u switch from vk to FT all your defences from tk dont work plus the time involved in switching back and forth between weapons can get u killed if your not careful. but if i had to pick someone to help me take one out id ask a master commando to help while i tanked as tkm,if i can put a 2k tick on the thing at my level i imagine a Mcommando could have a very nice burn going. if i could master commando and tkm and keep some medic i would definately do it but i think im short a few skill points with also having 4 force boxes filled.

ya but there speed is terrible for FT,even with my speed sliced ft at 3.8 speed its slow shooting the flame cones etc..seems like a 10 second delay. i think we can only get as high as 50 speed for FT and ive never seen flamer thrower speed attachments. only ones i seen were for heavy weapon speed but i heard they dont work.

you are correct, they do not work. Currently there are no working attachments for commando....if I remember correctly

I have an update, I did it 
It took 78 minutes using a combination of headhit, knockdown, warcry, and intimidate. I finished with 444 BF, 407 wounds spread evenly through all my pools, I lost 2-6k condition in my new armor pieces, and I lost around 200 condition in my VK.
There was no loot, which made me sad. But I'm still happy because I can finally say I literally beat a dragon to death with my hands.
This will probably not be possible anymore once the CURB comes, so I'm glad I was able to acomplish something like this. Others may think it's retarded (deep down, I do too. It shouldn't be possible), but I personally think it was a fun acomplishment

This is a newb question but what does CURB stand for? I assume that you are talking about the combat upgrade but I just wanted to clarify.

tkm i solo'd a canyone krayt in about 2 hrs
chest plate was about half gone

I've done it "just because". It's one of my odd ambitions to have tanked everything I can and solo'd everything that I can.
Takes me a lot less time. Maybe 15-20 minutes or so with my scythe. The first canyon krayt I killed gave m a premium pearl 
Am I right in saying you're on Starsider? You can come krayt bashing with me sometime if you like, it'd be nice to have somebody taking the hits for some of it and doing a little extra damage.

Had it down to about 1/3 mind when some dark Jedi trained another one onto me. Had to run, and the obne I was hitting vanished and respawned with full HAM. I was too disheartened to try again.
However, I did take out about 15 juvies and got two quality pearls and some tissues, so the trip was worth it in the end. Boy is it mad out here though. Can't go far without tripping over an ancient krayt.
