I hunt Krayts a lot, either with friends or by myself. I'll only take on juvies by myself, but I'll take on all except an ancient with friends. I'd be happy to hunt with you sometime. My in game name is Aesherlyn

I heard that the loot sucks right now and they aren't even worth doing especially now that they made them harder. They were tough before and I don't even want to see what they are like now.

AND GET RID OF RETREAT! THAT THING SUCKS HORRIBLY! Nothing worse than getting a Krayt down to half health and then have it "Retreat" and regain its health almost instantly.

um, have you guys heard of GROUPS?

yeah, they are easy if you group. you can lay waste to them all day..... unless two GrandKrayts spawn on top of you while your fighting two adolescents........ but hey, whatever.

So they only spawn in the graveyard? Well hmm... we've killed tonnes of em to get no yield.

lol I agree. I hate that retreat. I had a Canyon krayt down to 1/3 left several times and then +Retreat+. You need to stay close to their spawn point or that happens. Last try I kited in circles around the sapwn point (just need to keep clear of his friends lol).

Krayts are still soloable. I killed 5-6 Canyons and Juvinile last time solo. They are harder than before but actually take less time to kill (but they do a lot more damage to you). Kiting/root/snare is your friend. I have no healing (other than stims) so I really need to stay out of range. Also make sure you don't loose all action and can't fight back. I am using action reduction powerups and have no problem with action. I tried a few times before without action pups and got killed when I run out of action.

They still drop good loot, however pearls are pretty bad. Pre-cu, juvenile would drop quality and Canyons and above premium but now they never drop above quality.

My fav place to hunt Krayts is outside of the Tuskan Bunker (Tuskan controlled Imperal Bunker) North of Wayfar. Usu spawns Adolescent, few Canyons, and I've only seen 2 Ancients, but Im a crafter, not a hunter. The spawn rate isn't as high as in the graveyard, but it' s a good place if you have a small group.

People, Grands and Addies do NOT drop anything. Juvies, Canyons, and Ancients drop stuff. And for those that get retreat... just don't go too far away from its spawn.

Right now though, I have no clue on where to find juvies or canyons as I have only seen one pair since the CU. I've killed around 20 ancients and have gotten Advanced Assault cores, nothing, good pearls, and tissues. What I HATE is the people that can't kill the krayt and since they have 'damage' rights to it, I can't loot it even though I killed it. That irritates me so much...

What are scales used for? and are they worth anything? i have tons and nobody seems to want them.....

They're used in armor crafting.
