Thread: Houston we have ignition....
Just before the "fix patch" went it I made a kaadu
CL 10
stats low 800's
After the patch I made another one
everything was pretty much the same 1-2 pt variance.... but
HAM was like 50/2400/130
and the damage was about 1/2 (max 40's) (speed was the same though)
CL 8
-T
Thank you so much Aya.
Thank you too Talthazar.
Thank you both for the websites, letting us see whats going on.
Thank you to every one sharing their TC experiances on the bords.
The templateresists stuffis down right confusing, when compaired to the final product.
Ok, I've got spreedsheets, but it's too late to pretty em up for the website. Here's a few of my results tonight however
Vir Vur - Used Spineflap HAndmaiden, Soldier and Guard DNA - CL 9 2796/3137/2796 30-40 damage1.99 spd No ranged attack ![]()
Vir Vur 2 - Used all Bolle Bol dna - CL.... 24
6906/7965/6691 190-200 damage 1.98 spd
Next I started on a series of experiments - I'm using all ikopi dna with no resists and faamba in a single slot. I need more results to be sure, but so far, Physique lends higher resist from the sample in that slot than prowess does. Further Experimenting on Physique seems to raise resists. I noticed some oddness in my tests I need to verify and possibly pass on to Keldarin but overall there was little to report wrong to him tonight think.

Oh sweet mother I hope so
Okay .. I'm jealous of Tal's CL 24 Vir Vur .... must find Bolle Bols!
I played around a bit more with Cu Pas ... have LOTS more combinations I want to try but it's getting late ... I'll try some of your suggestions tomorrow & Sun as I can.
BTW . .the Red is awsome! i updated the color page with the Cu Pa colors.

Wow, I am really at a loss. Tests 1.1 and 2.3 were under very similar conditions yet got two completely different results with specials. Maybe it has to do with the CLs relative to each other....?
1.2 and 2.2 were similar conditions as well (also with relative CLs reversed) and yet got similar results with the special attacks.
Actually, were it not for test 2.3 I would tenatively propose that specials come from a combination of physique and mental... but 2.3 shows that isn't the case.

Sorry for the consecutive posts ![]()
My advice (take it or leave it) would be to see if these results are reproducible. We (or I
) can sit here all day trying to find some sort of pattern but if the results are, to some extent random, then it's all pointless.
Proper analysis can't be done without knowing that the tested results are reproducible. Without reproducible results all we have is worms eating trained worms....
What i meanby generationalizing the dna to remove certain traits is that if you take the from the clone samples that are 30% kinetic and 20% to everything else in four of the slots and then add a single sample that is 50% kinetic and 10% to everything else then you should end up with 40% kinetic and 10% for everything else. Than if you repeat the process again with even higher kinetic and even lower everything else then it'll be gradually filtering out the others while boosting the kinetic.
The drawback is trying to control the CL rating as well however typically the resistances reflect the CL nowadays under the new system.
The New Creature Handler Tree Change looks like is not in effect yet, so thats the reason.
I mentioned it before, but not sure if I did here. The new CH skill tree is in fact in on TC. Also, Taming 2 does not seem to be required to tame vicious creatures. I personaly tamed a hermit spider which was agressive and only Novice CH. Further, I was able to trade it to a non-ch who was able to call it.
According to the new system, as told by ThunderHeart, the system for creature handler is based on the CL system so a Creture Handler that can control up to say CL40 could tame/train any critter that is CL40 and below. Viscious does not appear to be a factor any more.

Anywise, the CH thing that you could not tame it is because its a viscious creature, you still need tame 2 to get it right now.
