>seem to want this "force anyone and everyone into PvP for my enjoyment" card. <
did a BH force you to become a Jedi?. Did a BH force you to go on the terminals?.

nice of the other correspondents. Well aren't some of the other corrs also smugglers anyway? lol. The devs probably know that smugglers aren't to be trusted

Not sure why thatreminded me of this.....
Lando: Why, you slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler.
Han: (innocent look, pointing at himself)

They should implement player bounties as they were going to be way back in Beta.
If you failed or otherwise did not complete missions you took from the terminals you had the chance of your "employer" to put a bounty on your head.
Why do you think that you have to "confirm" if you want to take a mission? This was meant to warn the player because of the bounty penalty should they not complete it.

In this case...
Lando= SWG Smugglers
Han= Devs who could care less about Smugglers

oh i think it would be fun. people would care about their faction standing.
However maybe only a few factions would couse a bounty at -5000.
example: Valarians and Jabba hate each other, while -5000 jabba faction would make jabba want to pay for your head, Valarians are to stupid or not rich enough so they wont. Its better to be positive with jabba then and you can always dig yourself out by just killing one valarian.

Anyone think we are too hard on DEVs? Afterall they only create what the designers, producers, artists, stake-holders etc want. Let's not forget they are mere coders if I am not mistaken. Perhaps some of them double as game designers but I'm not certain.

the artists, coders, story guys, etc. They're all DEVs. this is why there was an issue a couple days ago when a dev who plays a smuggler came to say hi. He has the red name, and was attacked for it, even though heis anartist, and has nothing to do with our troubles.

I think we should take this in to context. If bounties were to be put onto terminals, then it should b limited to faction that in a story line could put people up for bounties. Like the Hutts, they could afford to put people up for bounties, but Dantari (tribes men/women on dant) could in no way pay in credits...maybe stones. I think there should b a good 4 or 5 faction that would apply not all. It would be better for PVP. Consider this is not written in stone, so i understand consern for change of what i just said.

Personally, I think that most everyone would be on the terms, but what real fun would that be? I'll tell you, doing "favors" for friends without the drama of xp lost, like with jedi. Then it could be just for fun, like if a player posted a bounty on a friend as a fun thing to do. And we, the bounty hunters, would track them down and kill them for fun. Wouldn't that be cool?
