Im Master Scout, and Master Marksman. But i still need about 25k in combat XP points to qualify for Novice Bounty Hunter. Can anyone offer some useful advice on how to gain some combat XP asap? (like how and where to get it)

Thanks in advance.

Group with some higher level players on a higher level planet, but not too many or you'll just get about 100 pts before they kill the stuff.

Or find a BH with knockdown and farm off powerless stormtroopers. A friend of mine just started and I took some reb missions, knocked down the troopers and let him finish them off. It took him about 5 mins/ but he was getting 2000 weapons, funny stuff. People came by and watched, the troopers would keep talking while down. "The hostilities aren't bad" "Any word on reinforcements?" You know you need a break from the investigation tree when you talk smack back to a knocked down NPC...

If you have a friend with a good pet tank go to Dathomir and kill kariumith. If you can lay in enough damage that should get you between 200-300 combat XP per creature. If you're solo I suggest going to Naboo and hunt kaadu and hermit spider lairs. Those thing spawn like crazy from a lair. Its not so much high combat per kill its all combat xp per time unit. Hermit spiders go down quick. Kaadu are more of a challenge but supression fire works well against them and warning shot works well when they swarm. And the XP is pretty good.

I got a huge portion of my combat XP from the tusken fort. You can go in big groups and still farm some decent combat XP. Took less than a week as I recall

Personally I did unarmed 4 at Wayfar. I had novice pistoleer at the time, so I would stack 2 pistol bleeds on the mobs, and then commence to hitting them. If you have any bleeds from the marksman line, I would recommend you use them. Make sure you /peace after you apply the bleed, then attack unarmed for full unarmed exp for the kill. Basically I killed a ton of Cu'pa's.

If you are headed toward TKA manypeople like to go out and do zucca boar missions. They are very easy to kill and are social. All you have to do is get them to aggro you and do lots of unarmed spins....

Unarmed is very slow. I don't know if it still works, but you used to be able to equip VKs even without the cert. For a minor drop in damage output, you got a huge boost in speed allowing you to do overall higher damage per second.

Those are my tips for now... GL

BTW I verified the vibroknucklers being usable by novice brawlers. Its a great way to not die from boredom between your unarmed hits when you are young. Just remember to do specials with VKs unequipped. If you can afford it, get some good kinetic resist armor and just run up and attack without specials on white con mobs and you will shoot up to unarmed 4.

Well, thank you very much. I have health shot 1&2, and I will pick up some vibroknucklers.

hmmm, I'd get commando if I were you. With all these new defenses, mitigations and ham regenerations the only thing you can depend on is a good dot. I recently dropped all of doc and most of medic to get a commando/tka combo (was master doc/master tka b4). I've decided against master commando (only getting flame line) and am going to try and keep master medic (still need to see if I have the points for this). flame attacks do more dmg to ppl that are kd'd. I have come within 3k dmg in pvp before. My goal is to break it, which I dont think will be very hard as my flamethrower's stats are only 1020 max dmg. anyway that kinda dmg from a flamethrower leaves around a 1k dot on someone. aka death in a tic for even those who are buffed.
