I don't understand why there got to be cry babies that shout out what they know. I been making these buggers for a couple days and I was happy, you moron. I felt good about making these great pets for the guild. I felt good to go out hunting with some of the poorer up and coming guild craftersto dath to make some money while I just dna sampled the lair.

What else is fun aobut this profession? Last few days I was really just making creatures for friends INSTEAD OF GRINDING!! to get my last three boxes.

You found out crap other than showing us that you are a complete loser. Go back to school and let the other kids slap the back of your pointy head some more.

I did notice that anything made with this dna results in a Dumb creature . But you are right, if you get AR1 on the dna template, the resists reset to 0's (resulting in a 30-48% resist on sub CL10 pet).

I did some experimenting last night with this DNA. Seems as the generations of the DNA get used, the lower the CL of the pet becomes. Made a CL6 gurreck 10K HAMs 200dmg 48% resists from 4 2nd gen bugged DNA and one humbaba (5% resists). It seems if any resist is over 5% (like using Roba) the cycle is broken and the resists are somewhat normal. (Or if you hit the AR1 rating which seems to trigger the bug)

I am not flooding the market with these pets, nor am I selling them for any amount of $$. I don't think it's in the BE best interst to put these on the open market. So don't ask me how to do this, or ask to buy any from me

It's posts like these that make me realize that we, as players, should have very little input on the design/development side of games.

So we should keep an obvious bug quiet? What will happen when the bug is fixed and the customers that bought these bugged pets come back to you wanting their money back?

I don't know what was intended by the devs since we received very little information but, to get an idea go turn in a pre patch non ch pet and see what you get. I got a 900 HAM pet with no resists. There is a huge gap between this and the bugged pets with 10k hp. Yes, we should be able to make better pets but the question is how much better.

Having fun at the expense of your customers is not a good idea.

As usual...Good work Tal-N. If it were not for players like you I would hate to see what this game would be like.

Tal-n made a good point earlier. How do we know all of our pets arent going to get slapped with the nerf bat? It seems that this "bug" is either in all 2nd or greater generations to some extent.

This could mean a few things:

1) this was never intended in anyway, and all second gen clones will get "adjusted"

2) this is working as intended, and the Devs wanted the game to be pet wars again.

or

3) this is kinda working as intended. We should be able to make lower level pets that focus on certain things. A tank, with high ham/resists with lower level, a damage dealer with high damage, but no armor/low Ham at a lower level. The problem may be that it wasn't allowed to be tested enough *cough* character copy *cough* and though the guys on TC did a great job, the few of them there had really no chance of finding this stuff withougt a whole lot of testing.

OMG. to all the guys that took offense to my post. thanks for showing how geeky you are.

Im taking offense at Tal-N for saying LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME.

It was obvious these pets are bugged ? I read his post and it told me nothing. NOTHING except you are all sheep! You all wanna be rocket scientist or engineers i got one thing to say to you. UFA KEFE!!

You think playing a game that has a bio engineer class makes you feel better about working at taco bell or an IT tech? its the same crap just different taste.

Lest I repeat myself, Duci you have issues man. Tal-n pointed out an obvious flaw complete with photos. Never once did I get the impression he was yelling to the world "look at me." It was more of a "look how the devs have fubar'd the non-ch clone system."

And no, not all of us are high school kids. Some of us actually have high school kids of our own that play alternate characters with us. SWG is a game and bugs like the one Tal-n pointed out can destroy the mechanics of the game. Thus the enjoyment level drops for many of the people playing the game. You should put down the mouse and step away from the keyboard.

A CL10 or below animal with 7K - 10K HAM and high resists is obviously not right. Anyone with even the slightest bit of brains can see how a CL10 animal with huge HAM and high resists completely destroys the creature level balance. It makes creature handler skills useless except for training purposes. You can't tell me honestly you think non-creature handlers everywhere should have CL7 eopies and kaadu with 10K HAM and 45% resists to everything. Say bye bye to creature handlers everywhere...

Here is PROJECT for someone to figure out real quick.....

Probot-

900 ham MED ARMOR AND 40% RESISTS to all

Creature-

8000 ham NO ARMOR and 40 % RESISTS to all

Asssuming both of these are lvl 10 "items" what should the ham on the creature be?

And secondly---

If Probots were not nerfed and stayed at--

3150 ham MED ARMOR and 40% RESISTS what would be the corresponding creature with no armors ham?

Its almost like the BE code is what the game was at launch for BE and DE creation.....

Also lots of people have pre-nerf probots, should this be dealt with now along with these pets?

Food for thought.

I think allfuture MMORPG should have some sort of competency test before you can create an account. It would really help in weeding out the halfwits.

Good research Tal-N.

constructive posting all but the school stuff. I so glad in my grand childs time for school.

anyway. what is being right now is I am being asked to make all these pets. I told, well I got one like this, I want 2 more. Or I want the 4k ham cl10 pets. So I say, they are being made with a possable exploit. It isn't our call on if it a bug or not. We are not the devs. We do not know the rules. Just because I have not had luck getting armor on low level critters avoiding the issues posted in this thread does not mean it can't be done. I would love to be able to make CL 35 pet with armor with 60% resist in even if only kenetic and energy with them hig level attacks. But guess what. I do not think I should be able to make something like that. There is nothing close to it in the wild. They nuttered one that was,(graul comes to mind) But yet I got orders and more every day and at this point, I beginning not to care if it is a possable bug that ends up making it or not. No I won't do it they way posted.

I have honor with the pets I make and thesale of them. But I think we should only be making things with a result of better not god power to same level. I wish we could see the attack damage of wild critters. Make it easier to see if we on the mark. I still yet to make a Rancor with same power as and ham as was pre patch.

"The first gen clones used kahmurith snapper dna and the nocious dna. So basically what you have is some CL40ish dna ending up with something around CL18 and CL10...."

I tried this and got pretty good stats with CL25, but the pet had no armor whatsoever.

Im seeing that the dna is a bit "off" but I can replicate anything anywhere near what is being reported.

Putting Nocuous dna on physical and pyschological and Snapper dna on the others, gives you a mid 20CL pet with good resists, but no armor as I posted earlier. All Nocuous dna gives mid 20CL pet with light armor, but 0 resists. You get the armor, but 0 resists is a glaring weakness that more than makes up for the low CL and armor. So Im not seeing what everyone is talking about. This is 1st generation pets btw. As of now, Im seeing some irregularities, but nothing near what you guys have been saying. So it comes off as exaggerated.

As for all this "nerf this" and "exploit that" talk, Im sure the devs couldve made 1 post on the subject. One lousy post. Yet this has been out for a couple of weeks well before xmas so they had plenty of time to do something before vacation and did nothing. So theres a good chance they did this on purpose. Worse case scenario: its not working as they planned.

As for nerfing it, my opinion is this: Theyre always nerfing...err... "rebalancing" things in ways that are detrimental to us. Im sure many of you can list a few "rebalances" that have cuased you grief. How many times have they screwed you? So if the worm has turns a bit for once, I say "sit back and enjoy it."

Dishonest? I dont point out to the bank they made an error in my favor? Heck no! Do you know how many times they steal from you with hidden charges, cleverly written contract, etc etc?

Telling them to nerf something is like going into the battlefield withbright red garb and big targets on your chest. Why not make it a tad more difficult for them and juggle unpinned grenades instead?

Im sorry for the sarcasm. I just have a little hang up about helping people SCREW ME.
