Thread: I found what seems to be up with nocious kahmurrith dna
he also started a whole new thread about me hijacking his thread and complaining.
I hope they get this fixed soon. Too many people are going to get ripped off when its fixed.

IStop dna resampling from the clones? That isn't where the problem is occouring, it's perfectly possible to get exploited clones from the 1st generation. The resampling only helps to make the situation worse. So that wouldn't solve anything either.
Delete all pets from the server which are bio-engineered to flush the bugged ones out? Thats going to cause an uproar since you cannot distinguish a bio engineered pet from a wild one once it's tamed except for the fact they usually don't have well rounded resists.
Implant some code to check and correct the stats or CL when they're next called? That is my personal bet, they've done it in the past so it would seem like the best solution.
Well I'm not looking forward to any of these "fixes". SOEwould not have to take drastic measures to fix this exploit if thousands of people didn't know about it. I guess when the next nerf bat gets swung we know who handed it to them.

I think this bug goes a little deeper than kahmurrith dna.<deletia> The result was a CL 11 clone with 8342/5255/3388 HAM and 190-200 damage with normal fambaa resists and specials.
Wow...those are some pretty heady stats. Kelgar, to be clear, did this creature end up with AR1? I am curious if this also correlates to what Tal-N found ![]()
I too have been struck by the ridiculousness of the 1-star bandit. Kudos to Tal-N and others who have posted. Cheating the game is not good for the game or for the profession. But, there doesn't seem to be a limit to the callous self-promotion some seem to seek.![]()
I dont see why the system is simply scoured with a script that checks HAM, CL, ARMOR, and specific Specials.
For example.. The script can check for any HAMS higher than 2000 with a CL of 10 or less and render the pets useless.
They could check for armor on any pet less than level 30 with Armor and remove the armor stat.
They could check for any pet less than level 30 with a special such as strong poision, or strong disease and remove the specials.
I think this should only take a few hours during the downtime. I would really laugh at all of those BEs with their exploited pets on there vendors that go to unusable. I seriously pity any non ch that didnt actually think and wonder, why is my pet better than any pet a master CH can tame?
Exploiters will be caught and dealt with. You may not be banned, but you should at least be warned. I wouldnt have any problem with wiping ALL of the pets from every world and making everyone start over with pets... its not like we dont have enough as it is... and it would give the CHs something to do... as well as keep the BEs busy with making new pets that are not exploited.
Again... My 2 cents.

It's not a matter of getting the bug noticed here, it's a matter of being an honourable player who doesn't exploit the system for personal gains. Indeed as I have pointed out someone can make all of the effort to create a 10th generation clone with similar stats to what someone can do right away when using this nocious dna with the added benefit of the damage being utterly uneffected by the process.
As for what will be done to it they might simply grandfather all of these pets as they did with the pre-nerf probots. Since the bugged pets cannot be identified from the ones which are just generationalized via the system the devs created they can't simply delete them and if they rebalanced them then every bio-pet ever created is going to be changed since they all contain that flaw to some extent.

the reason i ask is because fambaas have a lower cl cap of 30, so if you were able to make one with cl11, something doesnt mesh
Step 1: Sample fambaa dna
step 2: Make a fambaa clone (used fammbaa dna) for resampling. lvl 30 (should have used another skin to avoid confusion)
step 3: sample fambaa clone
step 4: use fambaa dna from step one in slot 1, 2, and 5. Use resampled fambaa clone dna from step 3 in slot 3 and 4
Results ranged from cl 11 to 15 using an ANGLER skin in the final combine. Part of the problem seems to be using resampled dna in slots3 and 4. Doing this allows you to produce a much more powerful pet than what can be found at the same CL in the wild.
Im going to try to finda mobwith armor and see if I can reproduce these results with armor
Given that mental and psych are linked to the intellect ect.. stats then perhaps that ZERO in dependability is throwing things off. We know that should only effect the psych slot but you never know.
