That macro works great. Here is my refinement:

***********************************************************************

/ui action toolbarSlot06; /selectDraftSchematic 36; /pause 8;

/nextCraftingStage; /nextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype practice no item;/createPrototype practice no item; /pause 1;

/ui action toolbarSlot07; /selectDraftSchematic 36; /pause 8;

/nextCraftingStage; /nextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype practice no item;/createPrototype practice no item; /pause 1;

/ui action toolbarSlot08; /selectDraftSchematic 36; /pause 8;

/nextCraftingStage; /nextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype practice no item;/createPrototype practice no item; /pause 1;

/ui action toolbarSlot09; /selectDraftSchematic 36; /pause 8;

/nextCraftingStage; /nextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype practice no item;/createPrototype practice no item; /pause 1;

/ui action toolbarSlot10; /selectDraftSchematic 36; /pause 8;

/nextCraftingStage; /nextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype practice no item;/createPrototype practice no item; /pause 5;

/ui action toolbarSlot00

***********************************************************************************************

where

Slot00= the macro slot

Slots06-10 = food crafting tools

Discussion- I found a 5s pause too fast for me. If I am going to grind sometimes I need a mental breather and an 8s pause lets me go at a comfortable rate. If you look at the macro, this is essentially 5 crafting stations in series doing the same schematic. It is great since you can just hold your mouse in the same spot roughly and double click your meat/flora over and over.I found the schematic number by opening the food crafting tool, guessing an inital number (say /selectDraftSchematic 32), then going back if it was wrong and using control+(forward arrow) to bring up the last command typed and edit the number up til I got it. I had to put a 1s pause between each stage to avoid the 'you are already crafting message'. I put a 5s pause at the end because I was running out of allotted characters for the macro and over time I would try to punch a stage which was already crafting. Ideally I would have done a 6thcrafting toolbut again I was at the character limit. Perhaps I could have called aliases but my experience is those are buggy. A 10s pause on each tool would have let me get by with say 4 crafting tools. The 5s pause at the end was what I found let it loop infinitely. The last statement of the slot punch of 00 is basically the macro pushing its own button to repeat.

I would like to point out that if you are near a food crafting station, the schematic numbers change since the higher complexity schematics show up on your list. For instance if I went outside my house, I would do micronutrient supplement, but if I went in, I was doing a quickness woundpack B on the same schematic number call. The low complexity of micronutrient supplement means you can craft it in the field without a station, and I would set up your macro to work like that (IE use the schematic number away from a station).

Other pointers are pick up your big stack of oats/wheat/flora first, then pick up all your garbage meat. It takes 15 meat per run, so I split out the stacks to be in multiples of 15 so they disappear as I go from the filtered list of materials. I think of this as the sausage grinder macro, where all that low quality meat you have in your bag is actually consumed. I ground out about 16k xp and all of my worthless meat in under 30min using this. Now I need to go gather a big stack of meat again...maybe I'll go see what the cheap meats are on the bazaar.

Oh, and to kill the infinite loop, you just drag your macro to another slot. When it goes to the self referencing keypunch, nothing is there and it ends. Also I think you need a semicolon after the /ui action toolbarSlot00 command at the end. Too bad you cant edit posts.

not sure if it has been covered yet, but if you're trying to grind something that requires a personal crafting station then you want to add an extra /nextCraftingStage; in the macro to allow for that extra screen with experimentation on it. I use this macro to grind out the petstims I make, so I don't have the "no practice" string in mine. hope that helps.

So you dont need the practice no item for the create prototype line? Practice seems to be a toggle from what I remember on manual crafting...once toggled on all efforts thereafter are considered practice unless you toggle it off. So your additional line may bypass that and not produce an item if I think you last left practice mode on.

I was reading in a computer gaming mag a section on crafting, and there is some kind of way you can import long macros you make outside the game in a text editor. This might get around the character limit I was running into.

To kill an infinite loop just type /dump or make a macro key with the same command for a quicker ending. It will instantly stop the whole series from running.

I've never used a craft macro ever and never will do

just go to a high level planet with low population and start your hand crafting

you'll be loading in resources way quicker than on Tatooine (or any other newb start planet)

and xp is coming along nicely

if I get bored I just wander around on my hard level planet to get some mega DNA-sampling exp

and if my mind runs out, I sit down and start to grind tissues again

Don't forget that for crafting a Micronutrient we get 100xp... when a Chef use it we get 150 more xp...

So find someone to grind with and your xp will get much easier...

give pet to anyone you see... gualama or khamurra are easy to make and giving them give you xp when they make killl...

Just a note.

We get 100XP when we make a micronutrient.

We only get an additional 50 UXP when someone consumes it.

That is a total of 150XP NOT 100 XP plus 150 UXP

honnor.. i've been grinding with my guildmate chef for a little while now.. and it's quite apparent to be 100 for the make and 150 for the uxp... so unless something's changed.. i'd take another look at it if i were you.
