Well, again, it depends on what you're doing with the template. For any kind of PvP (factional or Jedi bounty), you can never have too much accuracy.

I'm working right now actually on changing my template from

MBH
Carbineer 0402
Pistoleer 0040
Medic
Brawler

to

MBH
Carbineer 0402
Pistoleer 0440
Medic

I also like the intimidation, but sometimes it's hard to get it to stick, and intimidate 1 doesn't seem to last very long. Still, it is a good skill to have, but I want to experiment with my pistol accuracy for in-close fighting against Jedi. I might even drop the 0002 in Carbineer and throw that into pistol grips for some more dodge.

I've also been thinking about something along those lines but what I'm thinking of doing is something along the lines of MBH , 3-4-0-0 carbineer and 0-4-4-0 pistoleer. Sounds crazy buthear me out.

You don't speed cap at +85 with carbines. You need about +90 to truly speed cap with a slower carbine and expert assault tactics will give you +100 speed (which is a bit redundant) but also scatter shot 2 which will help to provide more tactical choices in PvP because it can hit multiple HAM bars. The big kicker with 0-0-0-2 setup you have is you'll have a +10 accuracy while moving bonus.

All in all you'll have +180 carbine accuracy and +155 pistol accuracy. Throw in some +40 citros snow cake and you have +220 carbine accuracy and +195 pistol accuracy. If they ever got rid of that cursed weapon switch timer that could be a deadly combo.

That weapon delay timer drives me crazy. Why give BH different weapon types if we can't use them effectively? I used to love my MBH/Carbineer/Pistoleer template until they initiated that rule.

Yeah, the 0002 in Carbineer was for two vague reasons: chargeshot, and because I couldn't think of anyplace else to put the skillpoints. I have SEAs that bump me up to 90 carbine speed, and I think I actually have a few more laying around my houses. But Scatter Shot would def be another option, similar to Fast Blast but more damaging, altho I think it only hits two random pools instead of all three.

But Chargeshot has seemed to be a waste to me. The KD chance on it doesn't seem to be any better than FKD or Underhand, so what I might end up doing is dropping the 0002 for Force skills (more accuracy and speed, and more defense,or a little luck).

I don't play enough or make enough cash to have the millions needed to purchase/loot SEA's. Besides I don't consider myself "hardcore" enough to actually desire them.

Me either. I either get em by accident or people give em to me. I used to loot quite a few off my NPC bounty marks though. Got a Rifle Speed 5 once that sold for 5 mil, off a novice-level mark!

ok ive reached master saber now and am at the point where i have to decide where to go now im not really feeling into the whole master healer, and with combat revamp i dont see it being the best template out there

how is master enhancer, i like the idea of force shield force armor and fr3 and force drain (even though you cant attack you can outrun anyone) with the nerf of buffs coming up this seems like it would be a good defense

master powers seems like it could be fun but lack of force run i dont see me doing it

and i have a dabbler template in mind which is

master saber

enhancer 4-2-0-3

healer 4-0-0-4

powers 4-0-0-0 how is lightning accuracy at this level?

any knights with dabbler templates out there think they are just as good as double master or is double master the way to go

Tough choices.
I wanted to have some powers too, but decieded against it.

I settled on MLS/E44x4/H44x4 covers all my needs.
Also gives good FP(think it's in the 6400 range, which is manageable)

Looks like a solid template to me, not what i'd like but seem like it'd do okay. You really need to base your template off 2 main things 1). What you want to do with the jedi, do you want to be up there dealing all the damage, or a mainly support jedi. 2). Your play style, many people are just looking for the ultimate pwn em' all template, but what they forget is that each player has their own play style/favorite combos; if u choose one that doesn't fit your play style you will find yourself sucking.

I'm going for a mainly 1v1 template because the GCW is screwed up already, and i hate playing tef wars instead of Star Wars(Master Ls/Master Powers). It fits my play style of diong boat loads of damage, has the cool factor, and i figure it will be alot better after the CU. And when do go group pvp, i have an area intimidate/knockdown/massive damages moves to help everyone out.

I agree with everything you have chosen except the 4000 powers. The reason I dont like it is because if your going to PvP there are more master enhancers out there and if they have a macro for /forceabsorb2 and /forcefeedback2 (which master enhancers should...) you will be hit for more damage on the reflect then you actually hit them for. I am not a fan of the dabbler templates especially ones with Novice Brawler but If I was to make a dabbletemplate I would choose 4000 defender over the 4000 powers or just do what most jedi have Master LS/Master Enhance 4004 healing. The one line most people look over in the enhance tree is the resist branch. Once you go up the FRS that branch is uber actually the poison and disease is good aswell cause at knight you get a 29% poison tick reduction (absorb) mix that with a resist buff and when they fix them (I have heard the absorbtion is broke on those resist packs) Poisons will only hit you for about 40% less then what a normal player would take.

Its also a good idea to take your main out and PvP with him to see what other jedi are.

I been pvping a little with my jedi. I am 0-2-4-4 sabers 2-0-0-2 enhancer 3-0-0-4 healer novice rest. My plan templet is MLS, healer 4-0-0-4, enhancer 2-0-0-4, powers 0-0-4-3. But i am scared i will get owned cause i dont have ANY defence. How are you jedi out there with MLS, M powers, surviving with out and defece or armor?

Its not so much not having the defense its the fact they dont have force run in their templates. Its a good get a way tool But master saber does have some defense the saber toughness applies...

Just got back into the game after a long break and decided to shoot for my original goal of Master Pikeman. Been trying to flush out a Template to use and currently i'm lookin at the following and reasons why;

Master Pikeman - Cause my toon is based off Kir Kanos the Royal Guardsman, though i've turned him into a clone of said guardsmanfor a more RP effect. And cause there are to many TKA/Fencers around from what i'm seeing.

Doctor 4/4/4/0 - This will give me the ability to heal, cure, revive, and buff myself since i'm solo alot and haven't been able to find many buffers of late during the times i play. With Med clothing for + Medic Use i'll beable to use the Enhance D paks.

FS Ranged Defense, Melee Defense, Melee Accuracy, Melee Speed. Probably choose the vehicular and survival ones for terrain negotiation abilities(though heard they don't work right)

This toon will mostly be PvE, i hardly do any GCW at all, seems to be very little GCW going on right now.

Any idea's, opinions, or pointers would be appreciated.
