I have been very successful without Master Sabers against Jedi on my own par. My intimidate really helps and that's why I am really trying to stick with it. With the changes to the mind pool coming I may not pick up One-Handed 
So confused lol.

Doesn't intimidate take a lot more force than heal states?

Not really, I haven't noticed that. Also not everyone (although alot of people do) has heal states. And non-Jedi certainly don't have it.

Howdy folks i come here seeking advice on my rangers template Currently im Master Ranger working towards Master Rifleman, now heres myquestion should i get Nov med or part of ch i really like the idea of having pets out with me and would be handy for rifles so if i got ch what part of the it should i get ? think i can get upto lvl 3 in one of the trees with the sp i have left thanks for ur time

If you have the pet tank for you. You wont need the novice medic as much. But if you solo in the woods a lot think hard about it. Go 0/3/0/0 in CH. This gives you CL19 and a lot of stored pets. Thats why you run up training. Option two is grouping 3. But with 19 levels of pets. Thats not much to have two out with you.

Ok I'm finally just giving up trying to decide. Please help! I know I want MTKA/MRifleman. Here is what I see as my best options.

Fencer 4-4-4-0
Does the +5 riflespeed at master marksman(SS2 at the speed cap) worth more than the all the state defenses in fencer (50 KD, 50 posture change, 40 blind, 40 dizzy, 20 intimmidate)? The melee and ranged defense is capped on both templates.
Been debating this for a week :/

You'll fire SS2 once about every 1.2 seonds with +95 as opposed to once every 2.5 seconds with just +90. The melee and ranged defense is capped on both templates. I like the second template better for the defenses, but that would be your best option only if you could get +5(or better yet, +7) rifle speed in SEAs. If you can't find/afford them, go with the firsttemplate. That's my advice- some will agree, some will disagree. Either way you play it, MR and TKM are both great fun and I hope you enjoy yourself

I do have a +3 attachment so I will hit the cap for sure if I take master marksman. If that makes a differnce at all.

I like my template of MRM/TKM pistoleer 0040 and pikeman 0030.
Good state defense, block capped, good melee surivability and the pike skill also let you use all the pike for the DoTs, except maybe the energy lance. Only flaw is that you have no medic.

I am currently BH 0440, Caribeener 3400 , Pistoleer 0423 so that I have max speed and accuracy for pistols and carbines and can use geo blaster pistol. I am afer a template for 1v1 pvp and jedi and was wondering whether I should drop pistols completely for master rifleman.
I beat opponents by eating away at their mind with the laser or dx carbine using scatter 2 or eyeshot with the dx or geo pistol, it taking a few minutes though against a buffed opponent, unless they are a prepared fencer, in which case I can do nothing.
One tactic I use is to keep out of reach until i get a kd/dizzy then close in with pistol to finish off opponent with eyeshot. Closing in is a dangerous paractice though
Rifles seem to be far more powerful for attacking themind and allowi you to keep distance , seeming the better option.
Does anybody see any disadvantage to using a rifle as oppososed to a pistol for 1v1 pvp including jedi?

Hi, im currently Master Sabers, Healing 3/0/0/4 and defence 4/0/0/4 so now i've come to my crossroads and i have to make a decision. im not really in PvP so this will be purely for PvE really unless i get jumped by BH's
option 1)
Master Sabers, Master Defender and healing 4/0/0/4
option 2)
Master Sabers, Defender 4/0/0/4, Healing 3/2/0/4 and powers 0/0/4/0
i will be going for 1 of these so any input would be appreciated

Well if you're not pvp'ing then get the force powers I guess, might as well have some fun.
