I'm sure it would work fine, but why do you want slicing 3? You might want to think about dropping exploration 4 down to 3 since exploration 4 doesn't give you any more terrain negotiation. Then drop the slicing line and pick up novice medic. I know a lot of people don't use heals, but I've found them useful many times.

i have no problem with jedis and do not and will not deliberately hunt them.
i'm interested in pvp from a GCW perspective and pve for hunts and quests. with the above template would things like krayts and the geo caves be well and truely out of bounds?
at the moment i'm a master pistoleer/master fencer. doing swordsman for pve. but i love pistols and would love to really specialise in them.

The Exploration 4 line from scout is a pre-req for BH (he had BH pistols 4 listed in his template)

Well I found a pretty good and round template is:
Master Pistoleer
Master Marksman
Bountyhunter 0-4-4-4
Scout 4-0-0-0
Novice Medic (Stim Bs)
Novice Brawler (Intim)
Not bad for PvE or PvP.. I stayed at that template for a bit before I got BH Investigation.
With the right foods your a good PvPer too.

Currently I am Master Enhancer, 0044 Saber, 3204 Healer, 0040 Powers (template A)
I am feeling that I am probably going to need One-handed saber for PvP, so I thought about dropping powers (intimidate rocks, but weaken seems weak
) and going:
Master Enhancer, 4044 Saber, 4404 Healer (template B)
But will I even use polearm anymore? Hmmm, so I thought maybe:
Master Enhancer, 4004 Saber, Master Healer (template C)
Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Quantix the first template looks awesome with the LS skill moved from polearm to one handed you get the head hits. Yeah and the area intimidate is sweet, I wish I had that

Having 4044 saber is a big waste of skill points - either master the saber tree or pick one type of saber to use. If you PvP with a group, I would say stick with Template A (but switch out the dual bladed saber for the one handed). The ability to area intimidate is *huge*, it's the one thing that makes the force powers tree at all desirable and yourfriends will love you for it. Ifnot, go for Template C.

From what I hear, 4004 sabers would not be enough to pvp adequately. You'd be better off with the old standard of Master Enhancer, Master LS, 4004 Healer. Master healer, 0044 Sabers would be great for PvE, but from what I understand the accuracy/toughness bonuses at master LS are the most important for PvP.

I refuse to do master Sabers, just because I would rather spend my points on other skills

Damn straight. The sad fact is, though, that although the devs said that one of the biggest aims of Publish 9 was to encourage jedi diversity, you are severely punished for deviating far from the cookie cutter template. I know some variants who don't have master saber, though, and they still work just fine.
