Thread: Predicting Pet Level in the new system New Preliminary Weightings
Yay! /dance jig
Namessiah that little program ROCKS!
If there is anything I can do to help this project, please let me know.
Thanks for all the great work on this ![]()

I don't think there's anything else needed to be done (if it works that is)

Here is some results that I got... maybe they will help you all figure out the system.
The DNA templates I made and the what they turned into once inside the pet skin
H= 834 F= 785 D= 810 E= 863 I= 217 C= 785 D= 160 C= 370 F= 687 P=555 Quality= High Ranged= Yes
Turned into a CL 68, Health 6688, Regen 64, 4710 Armor Effectiverness, to hit 165, defense 150, damage 99-396.
H=837 F=805 D=815 E=801 I= 205 C=801 D= 203 C= 523 F=639 P=562 Quality=Above AverageRanged= Yes
Turned into a CL 69, Health 6672, Regen 60,4830 Armor Effectiverness, to hit 168, defense 150, damage 100-399.
Hope that helps and I will compile more, just wanted to make sure I was keeping the right info for you to use.

Heres some more data for ya
Thats an update of the previous data that I posted. However, this time I tried to concentrate my cloning efforts with a particular type of DNA instead of just mixing and matching. So I started sampling Bols and experimenting from there. What I was hoping to do, by picking one DNA type and experimenting on individual stats, was to try and get a better idea on how each of the stats play into pet level.
No idea if ranged/non-ranged play into the pet level, however, just from the experiments that I've ran it... It seems that some of the stats play a more important/less important role, than what you have in your equation. More so when the pets get in the higher levels. For example:
HardForDexEndIntCleDepCouFiePowLevelIndexPredicted
1071231279494752874251437718032179.0028.03816
1011230283491732824281377825132194.8332.46801
10022262864947328524840 7524831190.431.20126
10042274596307227724541 7724534195.832.74809
In these two examples, I tried to match as many stats as possible, while varying only 2 of them. In some of the experiments, the predicted level was the same as the one predicted by your equation. However, some varied by several levels. No idea what this means, since i havent looked at in about a week or so
So there ya go and have fun!

made form gnort dna for those curious (random stuf fi ahd lying aournd form pre cu wnhen i used gnrot dna with voriter dasher for cl10's)
both were put in gnort skins and i used the same emat anf flora for both (yes i know it has no effect but thier small old stacsk im trying to use up so i thought i might as well)
experiment 1
cl 3
h 2
for 2
dex 2
end 2
int 161
cle 10
dep 2
cou 2
fie 10
power 47
experiment 2
cl 3
h 2
for 2
dex 2
end 2
int 64
cle 10
dep 2
cou 2
fie 10
power 135
final pet differences pet one has +3 defence and +8% state resists on pet 2 so intellect appears to increase both defence and state resists so if you want a tank make it a clever tnak or its not gonoa be much use
gnort skins shoudl go as low as level 1 so this cant be the skin effecting the level yet both cmae out lev 3 with only intellect and power altering (i fully experimented mental on the first and agression on the second to get as big a difference on these stats as possible)

Hi everyone!
Um ... just a quick note on this. I think we've figured out the formula (ish) for the most part based on our 'normals' and need to refine to see how the 'abnormals' - ie. those that don't fit into the predicted curve chance it - and therefore change our equation. So probably more data needed.
My head's hurting too much at the moment to play with this today - just came back from - well I'm not sure you'd call it a holiday when it involves taking 4 small children and your mother-in-law who is both highly arthritic and easily bored to a remote part of Scotland where there is plenty to do if you like hiking
Sorry ... just whinging here.
I think it still needs work ... it's a question of getting the weightings right. Do you guys think that ranged/unranged might play a part in the combat level as well?
Anyway - sorry to have put this on the back burner for so long - will get back to it soon I promise.

x = (9 * hard + fort + 2 * dex + 2 * end + int + clv + dep + courage + 2 * fierce + 30 * power )/100
level = -1E-06x^3 + 0.0011x^2 - 0.0265x + 3.2719
Can someone pls tell me how -1E-06 is written in a normal way?

In the document I copied to my harddrive someone else had made a forumla for calculating the level. It looked like this:
x = (9 * hard + fort + 2 * dex + 2 * end + int + clv + dep + courage + 2 * fierce + 30 * power )/100
level = -1E-06x^3 + 0.0011x^2 - 0.0265x + 3.2719
Can someone pls tell me how -1E-06 is written in a normal way?
level = -0.000001 * x * x * x + 0.0011 * x * x - 0.0265 * x + 3.2719
The E is just 'calculator speak' for I need to raise this to the -6 power but I can't display it b/c I'm just a wee calculator and I don't have enough room. The '^' is just programming talk for raised to the power of.

Is there a way fo working out what the five dna samples will work out to in the final dna template?
i'm sure pre-cu there was a website with a system that could do this, you waould put the dna stats for eahc of the dna pieces into the calculator and it would tellyou what the final dna template would roughly come out, is there one for post cu? if so in conjunction with nams level/stat calc this would be awesome for testing recipes.

That would be ace and more useful then anything else I'd say. C'mon all of you math geniuses, you can do it!
