Thread: I found what seems to be up with nocious kahmurrith dna
While a CL2 meaning is clearly wrong, I do feel BEs should be able to make clearly better pets that those found in the wild. Making a creature smarter and more tamable yetwith full strengthis certainly possible. Image putting a dogs brain into a lion. Very loyal and not dangerious to their owner, but will attack with full force against something threatening. We should be able to make amazing pets. This does leave high end pets very wanting though, as we can't sample anything in the high range.
So the question is how intended is this and how much of this is buggy? Where is the line drawn from an amazing success and a clear exploit?
I think this bug goes a little deeper than kahmurrith dna. I ran similar tests yesterday and got the same results you did. No these bugged pets are not for sale, dont ask.
Today I ran the same tests using only fambaa dna. While the results were not as fantastic, they were still too good for the CL. I started out making a fambaa clone using fambaa dna. The result was as expected, a copy of a fambaa. I then sampled the fambaa clone and used fresh fambaa dna in slot 1,2, and 5 and resampled fambaa dna in 3 and 4. The result was a CL 11 clone with 8342/5255/3388 HAM and 190-200 damage with normal fambaa resists and specials.
It may be worth other BE doing similar tests on other mobs. Im thinking that part of the problem is in using resampled dna in the 3rd or 4th slot. Even though the pets made from the kahmurrith show the bug to a greater scale, I think it is much more widespread and the problem goes much deeper than the armor.
remember we're talking cl 2-10. show me one with over 4k ham, 45% resistances, 100+ damage.
Put up or shut up"
Hold on a sec. Did some piss ant just try and get wise with me?
I didnt call you names, I merely said you should back up your assertions with some form of proof. Im sorry if you dont like being disagreed with, but dont result to name callling.
Saleb, MBE/MCH, Intrepid
Here ya go, you can call me names too.
AgeOldMyth... please back up your assertion that prenerf wild pets are better than what was produced using this process. Remember to keep your proof restricted to CL2 to CL10 critters with all three of these:
- Minimum 4k Health
- Minimum 40% Kinetic Reistance or Light Armor
- 200+ damage
I think those parameters are fair.... seeing as you can't get past the very first requirement.

Yes and no.. on how to report an exploit.
This one took some tracking down and figuring out to find it. So this post might go too far in explaining "how to" but without the other posts, the detective work might never have happened.
Okay morons... I'll spell it out for you... If you use Light Armor DNA it has fortitude of 500+. If you experiment and get less then 500 you'll end up with the base value resists up to 50% at which it rolls over to LIGHT ARMOR. Get it? Okay then.. back to bed now for you kids.
Try experimenting instead of pointing fingers. You tards have no clue what it takes to make a good clone cuase you're too busy looking for someone else's formula. Put up or shut up.
Why the vitroil Cerano?
Heh can't even tell who you are directing that at.
The Light Armor rolling resists over has been pointed out in a good number of the threads and at the core is part of the problem in the system.
This is his problem:

he is one of them selling the pets.

Ahhh okie, now it is much clearer
