Maybe a stupid question.....Is this a TC patch or production server patch event?

OK so it looks like theresistancesare derived from the dna with no ability to manipulate it, this is gonna make things much much harder to control but I suppose it's a start. I'd assume then that it's not possible to make that CL35 Graul-a-like with 75% resistances since there is nothing in the world that has kinetic resistance that high to begin with. That kinda makes sense but it does suck a bit cause that would have been fun

I'm not so sure of that. I've had varying results from resists. It seems it may be possible to mix resists somewhat to get the desired results, but it's still too early to tell.

So my dreams of a level 70 pale white rancor may one day be realized?

Actually I don't think white was an option on the rancors. Colors are hard coded into the models and our options pick from that list. As I recall the rancor has greens, yellows, reds and browns in varying shades.

Yeah but you can have white cupa so we can basically make taun tauns. Too bad they can't be mounted yet cause I'd love to have one rather than my kaadu.

If for instance you made a white Cupa and called it a Taun Taun in the final dialogue box what do you get the creature type as when examined?
Does it come out as Cu-Pa (the skin) or Taun Taun (Thename you called it on creation)

If you look at my screenies, the name of the skin is listed under the stats, I'm guessing that changing the name on the clone would not change that, but it's something I'll test.

Any chance at getting frenzied graul samples put in a Kimo skin?

yea, I hope using Frenzied Graul dna helps. Seeing that frenzied graul has that ever impressive 75% kinetic resists still, also light armor you should be able to make something impressive. Tell me you can at least use Frenzied graul to create a light armored creature with at least 50% kinetic resists. I don't care if its vulnerable to everything else, at least I can use it for hunting.

Ok I just want to say some stuff.
I see some of you have not run into Hurrtons too much.
But I have many times and run into other things very much like them with different names.
Anywise, the ACTION value of 2000 is about right, in fact the wild ones have about 2000 on their stats and most of the time more....the other stats are low?? Must be a coding mess up, unless its to get ready for the Creature handler changes.
So the Action sounds about right.
Anywise, the CH thing that you could not tame it is because its a viscious creature, you still need tame 2 to get it right now.
The New Creature Handler Tree Change looks like is not in effect yet, so thats the reason.
Also, you might want to make sure the CH's you deal with have the right skills, if you look at the CH tree, you will see they have two different scores, a Taiming Level score and a Control score. These numbers are put in different places int the Creature Handler Tree, and until they reach master, they will have different Viscous and normal creature taiming ability, one will be 10 higher.
So if you make something, make sure they have the skills.
A big thing is that I even noticed this when I first started out, is that our own Descriptions for the creatures we make, does not tell us the Creature Level or the Viscousnes of something, and we at low level make viscous stuff...go figure.
Master Scouts can check viscous and level.
SO anywise, I hope that helps the Bio_Engineers on the Test Center a bit.
Oh yes, dont forget if you target something you can hold the cursor over the HAM stats in the window to see the values, that should help you compare your creatures.
(you dont need scout skills for this)
If my character was on Test, I would be able to compare things easier.
I have been to all the planets in the game, and to almost every location onthose planets, searching for creatures to tame or to compare to what i have made.
Yeah...its silly...but I dont believe everything people post so I like to check things out.
