In a non-CH pet, something has to give - you cant have high ham, high resists, high damage and specials and ranged.
Using voritor dasher in the physical and phsychological slots with huurton pups elsewhere, experiment 3 points into physical and 1 in prowess gives great pets with around 4k,3k,2k HAMs, with some kinetic and blast resist. If the specials dont stick then you can probably get away with putting a point in mental but its a risk.

Can someone help me out here, I just got MBE and i would like to know a few good things to sample to make decent non-ch pets. Seems like everyone and there mom needs one and i dont know where to get good samples because i always end up with CL of 17-20. If someone could give me a little info that would be great.

experiment 3 into physical,1 into prowess and 1 into aggression. Thats the easiest recipe out there atm that i know of.

the recipe i gave works just fine with +1 aggression sometimes youll overshoot but usually end up with 90-110 damage lvl 10 which is very nice for a lvl 10.i did several of these and u hit 10 about 75% of the time.

If you take the voritor dasher method into another generation you can raise the resists up to as high as 16%. In the second gen. use
voritor dasher, 1st gen. DNA, 1st gen. DNA, 1st gen. DNA, huurton pup.
I've been able to also push the heath up to 5k doing this too.

Irecently bought a pet with a difficulty of 9 butI cannot tell it to do anything.
Is there something im doing wrong becausethere is no option in the radial menu to tell it to do any thing.
The only things it says are Call, Examine and Destroy. When the pet is called all it says is Examine, Store and feed.
Have I bought a duff petor is there any way to get it to attack or even just to follow me.

When you bought him was it in a deed? If sothen itneeds to be trained. Find a CH and ask them to train it for you.

What is the best non ch (non overkill ie 9k ham) pet that can be made?

best non-"generational exploit" pet that can be made for nonCH is currently 5k/4/3k 10-14% kinetic, 90-110damagewith a dizzy strike special.
EDIT: meant for generational and exploit to be considered together. the pet type listed is not exploited

Someone told me that it was possible to make a 6k ham all around petincluding 6k mind with just the recipe of using a regular rancor in the physc slot and using low level gnorts or any crap dna for the rest, I am skeptical of it cus i dont see how 1 rancor could balance out 5 crappy gnorts into 6k/6k/6k ham and good kinetic resist. He also said that resources matter in the pets so im not sure if the recipe works, can anyone confirm that this works cus im going to sleep and cant test it for a while and im curious to see if this works.

Pretty sure this guy is yanking your chain. Seeing as he says resource quality matters when making a pet. Only DNA matters I have used OQ 17 floral and the pet turned out fine.

Best case scenario for the combination would be about 4.4k, 2.5k 1.2k and the resists would mean theres not a chance of it being CL 10 I'm afraid
