Thread: Resource Prices
Thanks
lately resource prices have dropped alot. when i started playing(6month ago) resources sold on average 2-3cpu on grind ql. and 4-10cpu on HQ.
now on ahazi i se grind sell for 1cpu and hq 3cpu ![]()
So on ahazi resource buisness arent an good way to go. my sales have drop 90% on resources(may also be because i moved to an different planet.) lol
Don't forget about the combat upgrade.
There are two mass exodii (what is the plural of exodus?) happening right now. One is from the game, all the crafters the CU chased away. The second is the people who stayed, but are converting to combat professions. The combat upgrade made everything group-combat-centric. If you have the resources and are willing to still craft, you will be able to make a fortune ... until the money runs out. Getting 1K per mission (8 K mission with 8 peeps)that takes 20 - 30minutes to kill is doing nothing to help the economy. But in the meantime, check out the local vendors and see if there are any good deals from anyone leaving the game or leaving combat professions.
I saw a vendor named "GARAGE SALE: EVERYTHING MUST GO AFTER CU" in acity called "GHOST TOWN THAT CU KILLED" on Talus
Ya. I've noticed the same thing.
I went looking for some steel yesterday because i ran out and i needed a large quantity fase, and it was going for 30c/ru I was dumbfounded that people think they can charge that much AND GET AWAY with it.
Sad thing... it's probably one of us on this board who's shop i was in.
I think we should start saying who's shop and what server. That'd put an end to that pretty fast.
At least I hope it would. ![]()

In fairness I think name & shame policies will only break down into mud slinging I would have to say the vendor search function allows us to buy from whomever we feel has the right price if someone wants to leave steel at 30cpu on their vendor let them just means with vendor search people will go elsewhere for resources and they will find they won't sell at these prices (unless its a stupidly uber resource thats used in lightsabers then from what I have seen the glowstick brigade will buy anything at anyprice if they think it will give them any kind of edge)

Should have mentioned that I am playing on Eclipse. Any Eclipseans around?
Me. I'm not a shipwright, but I've been helping my town's out since before JTL and have mined the heck out of stuff for them. Someone mentioned polysteel copper; the best Eclipse has had is Ysukomi, which runs 10-15 cpu, 6-8 if you get lucky. There's still lots out there, but it takes so much to make things that it'll get sucked up before too long. I've got a stack saved specifically for guildmates' lightsabers.
I can't say I've seen anything on Eclipse going for higher than 15 cpu that can't be replaced by something very comparable at a better price.
And yeah, if you're paying 5-10 cpu for stuff and reselling it for 3 cpu, you're probably underselling.
Either someone is making a modest profit off of it, or better yet, you're making a fellow crafter very happy.

It's much harder to mine now and you expect resource prices to say the same? They expect us to hire bodyguards now. Do you think we will eat the cost? Expect the prices to go up as less people mine. I used to mine millions of resources and sell at 1-2 cpu. I don't mine anymore b/c it takes too much time for someone who can only casually play the game.
Irony! It's harder to mine, and mined prices will be going up. Meanwhile, creature resources are dropping in huge bulk compared to the past and prices are coming down.
