Huh? That doesn't make any sense Sumorex. All pants are different and there are actually only 2 or 3 that take RFP's at all (the ones you can add bleed/cammo/stun etc. to). I'll assume you are talking about 2 of the more popular ones: paramilitary cammos and reinforced pants. Both of these require both cloths and panels as you say. However, you can mod either the cloths, or the panels or both. There is certainly no requirement that if you mod one you have to mod the other. I've made plenty of clothes that take both and only modded one because that's what the customer wanted. In fact, for example in the reinforced pants, if you want to add a modded cloth, you have to add TWO modded cloths, both factory identical which obviously adds a ton of cost to the pants. So I'm at a loss as to what you're talking about, sounds like a tailor fed you some bad info.

Something y'all might consider, if you have'nt thought of it, is running low-level low-bonus CHEAP tissues, for the tailors to use in pants. RIght now they have to use modded panels and modded cloths. So you'd get +17medical and +5bleed, or +5medical and +17bleed. The secondary stat is just there to make the pants POSSIBLE. I charge 1k for those types of tissues.

Now pants with +17medical and +17camo... hehe *head spins*

Arthur, unless they fixed it in the last two or three days, the RFP + SC pants are bugged. If you put a normal SC with a modified RFP you get nada on the pants... which is why I started making the low level medicals to couple with them.

Perhaps its changed in the last few tweaks, but when I had my pants made, the first two pairs of camo's came out with zero stats, despite using RFP's modded with mask scent / camo.

Made up a +5medical for the synth cloth, popped the SC (5med) and RFP (16ms/camo) into the hopper and out popped my pants with stats this time. Camo pants with 5injury/wound 16ms/camo.

I charge 500cr per average point for tissues that do not require rare resources,

+14/+14 = 7k

+4/+16 = 5k

At 500 cred per point, a tailor will pay 8k for a +16 injury and treatment tissue.

He'll add around 100 ressources at 3 cpu (fiberplast, metal,
inert petrochemical) and makes a cloths with it that he'll probably sell 15-20k.

Long story short, you better mass produce tissues, then get schematics and mass produce cloths yerself. If the normal price for cloths is 1K per points, then the tailor shouldn't get half of it considering his works only cost him less than 400 cred, IMO.

Not only 400 cred but grinding MBE is somewhat harder than master tailor, and the ressource need in tailoring can all be get with harvester, and the quality doesn't matter.

It's a lot of work to do all yerself tho. First you need to factory make tissues, then factory make synthethic cloths /
reinforced fiber, then factory make cloths.

But in the end you'll make nice profits, without the fealing to be abused by tailors.

I charge about 3k per tissue scaling according to quality and how hard i had to work to get the ingredients.

3K per tissue most things.

6k per tissue for Myoflex (since it uses eggs).

+12 is minimum acceptable quality

I know it is out there, but I couldn't find it. I was recently pursued for a contract w/ a tailor and was wondering where I can find a pricing guide for BE enhancements for cloths? Someone please point me in the right direction or submit on this thread. Thanks in advance.

I couldn't put my hand on it quickly either, the bottom line was anywhere between 250 and 1k/point. GL.

I think it'd also be fair to ask the tailor in question how much he/she charges for enhanced clothing - the general feeling amongst tailors also seems to be 250-1k per point plus the usual cost of the item. So it would be rough on you if you were selling tissues at 250 a point, and the tailor was charging 1k per point for the final item.
