TALTHAZAR!!-- will you be compiling the info into your website within the week?

Heh, I don't know about within the week. Christmas is usually busy for me at work. Not to mention if I don't start making my christmas candies soon, there'll be some very dissapointed people. After Christmas my time will free up a bit.

Not sure, but its starting to look like this

1 sample = armor

1 sample = protects

1 sample = sp 1

1 sample = sp2

1 sample = ranged

What clone is that using? Have you tried it with a tybis mesh? I want to get a CL 10 tybis pet =)

I have ran very few tests, but one thing seems consistent. When i put the same type of dna in the first 3 slots (physique, prowess, mental) and a second type of dna in the last 2 slots (aggression & psychology) the clone always took on the resist of the first creature ( quenker ravenger) and the specials of the second creature (seething bol crushers). So nowI have a pink woolamander with about 10k ham, vulnerabilities that match a quencker raveger and medium disease/dizzy that is level 26.

I will run this same test with 3 of one type dna for resists/ham and 2 types of for specials/damage and see if this is still consistent.

On your site Tal, it says grondas are cl20 minimum, I made one out of corellian butterfly dna yesterday that was cl15

I did DNA sampling on Endor and Corellia last night. I sampled Gurreks, those beetles on Endor (forget their names, but they have *great* resists), all kinds of Mereks, plus Corellian Butterfly Defenders andSharnaff Bulls. Basically every combination I made from these creatures had ranged attacks. I even had one combine where I believe I put Gurreks in the physique and prowess slots, and one of the Mereks in the mind slot, and gubber dna (I always used VHQ or HQ "cheap" dna for phych) and something else for aggression and it came out with a ranged attack. Anyhow, I'm thinking the mind slot may be the key for ranged attacks and I'm going to be experimenting a lot more on this the rest of the week (and taking better notes, hehe, sorry about that). The other thing was that every critter I made from this stuff came out with 2(!) special attacks. I was particularly pleased with this. Again though, I tended to put the spiders in the mindslot, and used only HQ or VHQ dna, I tossed out all the AA ones. Perhaps this also made a big difference.

I have only made one creaturethat actually recievedranged attacks using all Merek DNA ., but it seems that if u don't have 4 slots with ranged attack (all but psych) you don't get ranged . Please let this be wrong.

Then a question for u out there .. how do i create a clone with ranged without using all DNA with ranged attack ????

In another thread the hypothesis seems to be that whatever you put in the Psychological slot influences the ranged attack you get.

I'd love for someone to test this out, of course.

Looking for KD/Dizzy as special attacks? Mountain Dewbacks have just that! The problem is getting it to stick most of the time in the template while using mixed breed DNA, I'm still working on that...

Through numerous experimentsI have managed to convince myself that experimenting in Psychology lowers end product CL.When I try to make low CL pets I use clone (dependability >1k) DNA in the Psych slot and just experiment Psych.

Anyone else seeing the same thing? It's hard to be sure with the variability in DNA samples making it difficult to make two very similar clones.
