Thread: What do you wear?
I haven't worn armor up to this point, but I've been thinking of starting to PvP more. So my plan is to get a mismatch of bone, mabari, and tantel that have no vulnerabilities, not sure if that is possible but I have a bunch of Krayt scales and nightsister segments and stuff like that laying around.
I figure, who wouldn't want to duel some guy wearing Bone Armor and wearing a novice scout tag...poor suckers.
What are the encumberances on those? What are your stats before/after putting on the armor? And what buffs do you have to get to effectively wear them?
90% of the time I wear all BE clothes...mask/camo shirt, heal pants, and a Melee defense Duster. This works well for me. I'm a Ranger so most of the time I wear these until the mob spots me and charges. Then I put on 55% Ubese and pull out the 'ol FWG5.
Most of the time I don't have to resort to this thanks to Camo and Conceal shot.
I wear black pants, boots, shirt, and cloak about 99% of the time.
i have a full set of red composite armor(minus boots and gloves, female trando and all), and a grand healers robe to change into(removes all armor...very useful).
i have the leggings, chestplate, helmet, and robe in my quick keys, if i get jumped i quickly change into the composite and strafe2 or HS3 them to death. my armor has a rifle aiming +5 in it and rifle speed +2 and has 50% resists, once the thing is dead i quickly change back into my robe and let my mind heal, if i popped muon b4 or during the battle this doesnt take long and i always make sure to go into a downer in full composite in case i get jumped again
i can solo 20+ st with strafe2 and full composite and muon i can take a direct hit from an atst with composite, and im rich enough to get more armor if mine should die.
i of course dont care if i die and will take on anything, i primarly use a t21 even though the mind costs suck, but i often come out on top cause no one is smart enough to use a stun based weapon on me
and also i dont duel other riflemen....my dirty tricks dont work on em![]()
A black shirt with a plus 10 Accuracy while movingskill tape, plated neclace, a tan sand colored Special Ops Duster, the original pants you get with marksmen, black hide boots, a mercinary bandolier, and my cool special edition sun glasseswith a tan tint.
I look bad ass.
Bio engineered clothing is the way to go.
Pets and teammates can help keep the agro off you.
I'd recommend settting up some kind of armer macro though. I've got a set of Ubese that I have hotkeyed. If i start getting attacked, the armer comes on. As soon as the aggro is gone, the clothes come back out. The HAM costs of armer are pretty horrible, but armer WILL save your life.
