Thread: What do you wear?
You'll enjoy a good suit of voritor-segment enhanced Bone armor: feather light encumbrance, and you get that happy 50% reduction.
Make a macro for it, though, and switch it off when you don't need something to block death.
I wear, spec-ops duster, paramilitary camos pants, uniform boots and a long sleeved shirt.
I have a mix and match bone/chitin tough since i went rifleman i dont use it. Been thinking about getting that BE enhanced clothing( i think i know a BE/tailor), For PvP im working on getting a suit of ST armor
Untill master I used a special set of composite made with low encumberences. All ham sliced. I guess my suit could best be described as a half suit. Boots, gloves, chestpiece, left bracer and bicep, and chitin armor pants. I would only wear this for pvp and I would still need muon to keep my t-21 firing. And no helm unless i saw a scatter pistol in someones hand.
At master I wear a black gunmans duster, black sidebuttoned shirt, black comfortable slacks, black composite gloves. The gloves are the only mind encumberence I can bear. I refuse to use a pop gun, i use the highest damage t-21s I can afford to have made. But to do this and fire specials every second or so means I have to use muon gold, glazed glucose pate, and some other food that does the focus, stamina, and strength secondaries. And thats the only way I can fire my gun consistently, and I still have to take a break once the muon fades. But this also means that im incapped with quickness with no added defenses from armor. There are rare loot drops with high ranged defense mods. These are absolutely the best damned loot in the game for master rifleman and wookies.

Recently, Ipurchased a few more Composite items for future PVP use, but I keep them banked while I run PVE missions and work up my character. I've been rethinking how I want to advance my character, and it seems that new clothing with enhancements for Cover, Defense vs. Bleed/Stun/Melee/Poison/Disease, Injury/Wound Treatment would be good.
For anyone on Starsider, I've found Sascia Ennui to make some nice BE clothing (even some rare CH enhancement stuff that requires milk?). She has a store outside of Theed, Naboo.
I wear dark grey and bronze reinforced pants and muscle shirt with a brown cloak and black boots. I have a very nice set of full composite armor that is on display in my house. LOL
I used a PSG for a while but found it was a pain to equip and unequip. I went through 3 in 2 days. To much money so I just picked up CH and let my GSPs take all the damage.
Thanks for all the replies guys; looks like quite a variance of gear amongst you all, so I reckon the best thing for me to do is dabble and try the odd piece or two for myself.
At the moment im wearing black dress shoes, black wrinkled pants, a white simple shirt and a lovely big blue jacket - makes me look like a reject from the 70's (the name 'Showaddywaddy' for those older peeps here should just about sum me up
).
after all fashion is FAR more important than armour...
Bio Engineered CLothes, with Melee defence / Defence vs stun (throwback from TKM), but if i wore Armor i would wear Advanced Composite Chest plate and left and right bracers (top arm), and have a macro to quickly switch clothes
ALthough now with decay i dont wear armor, i just wear my BE clothes, drop a muon gold, all seems peachy, if i die, i only lose my clothes, not clothes and armor,

my current outfit consists of a black metal bikini top, cutoff pants that reach midcalf black in colour, and black boots. i sometimes wear a black spec ops duster with VERY light pink spots; and i have a black gem necklace that hangs right down between my... assets that enhances their appeal. my hair is red and short cropped look with a strand that comes across one eye.

ahh...llll...laaaaaallll... *drool*
I've found that armor is not my friend. The cost is too great. The nature of the Rifleman doesn't require armor, at least that's been my experience.
Wear cool looking clothes, find a Master Tailor and purchase some Bio-Enhanced gear. The bonuses to cover and bleed defense, for example, help a great deal.
