Well for the smuggler template: I would say it's worthless, the only useful thing you'll get is feign death, your accuracy and speed with your pistol will be dreadful and it'll be pointless using it for the most part since by the time you hit you'll be nearly dead
Hmm what do you intend to gain by training to swords 0040 and pike 0040? (ie why is it better than pistols 0040).. also one thing to remember, that pistols 0030 (or higher) gives you ranged mitigation2, which helps for those times when riflemen do hit ya o.O
Personally my template is:
Master Fencer
Master Brawler
Master TKA
Pistol 0030
I can count on one hand how often I've died on my health/action and not on my mind, so I don't find medic necessary at all (tho ofc you could drop master brawler to get it..)
I only recently got the TKM, but so far this template is working wonderfully for me, haven't lost a single fair one on one (cept where opponent was buffed and me not..), and even one time beat3 imps (a master fencer, master tka and a master rifleman) all fully buffed and incomp armor (I was buffed and armored too)...
Just remember, no matter your template.. a CM will still destroy you

Hello,
Using all my available Skill points, I was looking at the following template.
Master Rifleman (for obvious reasons
)
Swordsman 0-0-1-0 (for melee damage mitigation) with
Medic 0-0-1-0 so that I can heal my self
I need the rest of the sp for Master WS and Business 3.
Does this seem like a reasonable template to go for?

Sounds pretty good. One thing I'll point out is that you can use stim B's at Novice Medic, so advancing up pharmacology any further is a bit of a waste until Tier III (Stim C's). If you get the first box in Diagnostics instead, you will be able to heal a bit faster

Bear in mind Diagnostics only lets you heal OTHERS faster... you'll heal yourself at the same speed whether you're a Novice Medic or a Master Medic.

Also to note is that when the next patch hits, there will be medic droids that can use stim-As on you. I plan on dropping all my medic skills (15 points just from novice) to use elsewhere.

Thanks for the advice guys, - I was only a few 1000 combat xp away from master at sever shutdown.. ![]()
So get myself one of the nice new med. droids when they come out and put the extra sp. into swordsman?
Something like 3-0-4-1 for the specials defenses, and mind hit 1?

I just started a character on Bloodfin. I want to most definitely make him a master bounty hunter. What else should I buy in a profession to make my character able to take down bounties and those pesky jedis
