Thread: Factory question
There are four factories:
Wearables: Clothing
Equipment: Weapon, Droid, and General Items
Structure: Architect Items
Food: Food and Chemicals
They each serve the same purpose as their crafting tool and crafting station counterparts.
I can't figure out how to put materials into my factory so it'll make my muzzles.
I have the factory, deposited power and maintenance and fed it a schematic which it is "using". Just need to put my resources in. I would love help if someone could shed some light. Thank you in advance,
~Vellas
Not an answer, but a question to you.... How much does it take to run a factory (power usage, maintenance fee, etc)? I am thinking of running one as well.. Can you run three schematics at a time? eg.. create the two items that a third one requires? And how long does a schematic last?

Hopefully you are the owner of the factory and placed the deed. If not, then you won't be able to use it. Currently factories are bugged so that only the original owner that placed the deed can use them.
Now if you are the owner all you need to do is select the option to Open the Ingredient Hopper and then place in the ingredients for your schematic. If you forget, you can select the option to List Ingredients for Receipe or something along those lines.
Now turn the thing on. Come back in a few hours and your items should be in the Output hopper ready in nice factory crates.
Good luck with the factory.

You would also have to make sure that all the ones you put in there were from the same factory batch (not 2 crates of synth cloth that were made at different times for instance).
Well as long as the different batches were made from the same schematic it doesn't matter they will all have the same serial number. I've used panels from different crates, made on different factory runs in items that required identical panels from a factory crate with no problem.
I've found that when putting in multiple crates they need to have a quantity of items that is divisible by the number needed for each item to be crafted. For instance if I am making wookie crested padding, it requires 3syn cloth, after making schematic out of 100 syn( 4 crates) I am left with 97 usuable pieces, obviously I have to use 96 cuz that is the multiple of 3 I am looking for, at this time I should have 3 crates w/ 25 each, and 1 crate w/ 21. What works for me and the factory never stops is to take out 1 syn from each of the 25 item crates, thus giving me 3 crates of 24, 1 crate 21, and 3 extra pieces, then i pop all this in the hopper and voila, 2hrs. or so later, I have 32 crested padding waiting. The key is the crates having a number divisible by the # of ingredient needed. If I needed 2 syn per, I would need to have even numbered items in the crates and just put the excess in by hand. Sorry it was a long tell, lol, just got home from work and cant think straight,

Hi,
I am currently attempting to make nuetron pixie in crates of ten. The problem is everytime I create a crate it has 0/-1 contents. The crate itself says it has a numeric value of 10. Is there something I am missing? I have all the exact ingredients for my schematic. I have 3000 credits in the factory and 5000 power. I start the baby up and it finishes like it should, but again i get a crate of 10 nuetron pixie with nothing accessible. Is this some kind of glitch or am I doing something wrong. Please anyone who has done this please give me some suggestions or explain how you are doing it.
Thanks

Hey Noob merchant here with a question. I've purchased a factory and will soon be selling medical supplies. My question is when I set the factory to produce stim paks or whatever, Do I need to manufacture the components such as biological effects controllers and so forth in advance then put them in the factory or can i set it to manufacture all the components and then go ahead and manufacture the end product at the same time. Also any general tips for someone starting up a new small business would be much appreciated.
