Okay, quick question for this theory... What if I surrender my starting profession.. do you think the next profession I started becomes my main?

another thought as well.. does surrendering take away the XP points or can someone just keep surrendering and gaining and still keep XP? XP meaning FS-XP.

This is a good theroy and one I have considered but....

Losing FS experince? That makes it for a hard thing to judge. I mean killing a NPC monster might cause you to lose FS experince? That part just dont fit. For example, a novice scout MUST kill creatures inorder to Harvest materials so they can gain the thier porfession. So if this causes you to lose FS Exp's or even go negitive in FS exps then a Scout has the lease chance of all to unlock the slot.

Sounds more like Faction to me, maybe a FS faction bar thats unseen. But even then the game designed faction to go both positive and negitive. Hmm, Im curious now...

i got 33 200 / 1 000 000 of these skill pts...approximately as you said. i havent visited 4 worlds at all, most cities on the worlds i been on, never done profession related mission quests am pretty low in faction pts (700 as a private) and i havent counted my secondary profession stuff or misc stuff....soooooo maybe around 35000. means i am 3.22% on the way there and thats using up probably the biggest sources so far which are one time. seems like i need to visit those npc profession related side kicks a lot more.

Do feel free to say it anyway.

I know somebody said that you lose all of your FS exp if you die and need cloning. Does this fit into your plan? Because if it does then that blows big time for combat classes. Imagine getting all those 1-time onlypoints and then dieing and losing all those points. Then you can't do it anymore. I think this part is wrong, and that the xp is permanent if his system is correct.

All ye bow to fastgun, for he is the master of FSCS.

He knew he was as good as gone, but gone was somewhere he really didn't mind going to.
Since his shuttle had crashed, many years had passed, and the pictures of his loved ones that he drew on the walls of the cave
had finally faded.
He put out his smoke, proceeded towards the lake, repeating to himself,
everything beautiful is far away.

How come there's nothing about Training/Apprenticeship points? Surely that must be relevant.

do you know if the pts are back to 0 if you die? that would suck. no one would ever be a jedi for a sane amount of time.

Shady, I am pretty sure that all special places have FS xp value. Those related to your profession and faction seem to have more value than others.

Ceist, it is a friend of minewho isa friendto one of the developers kinda thing, which seems lame to me even as I write it.

Destroyer, I am not sure what kind of hit you take when you die, or abort a mission. Starting over from scratch seems ludicrous to me. However I do not know. I personally do not think that your entire FS xp starts over from 0 when you die.

If you by back skills, do you lose those points? If not, you could still Master your starting profession and get the skill points back later.

Khaliban I do not know what happens when you surrender points from your starting profession. Since surrendering points is not like failure, but actually exploring the game, somthing the Sony people want anyway, I doubtpoints are taken away.Perhaps any skills once achieved reward you with FS exp whether or not you later surrender them or not.
