Okay, quick question for this theory... What if I surrender my starting profession.. do you think the next profession I started becomes my main?
This is a good theroy and one I have considered but....
Losing FS experince? That makes it for a hard thing to judge. I mean killing a NPC monster might cause you to lose FS experince? That part just dont fit. For example, a novice scout MUST kill creatures inorder to Harvest materials so they can gain the thier porfession. So if this causes you to lose FS Exp's or even go negitive in FS exps then a Scout has the lease chance of all to unlock the slot.
Sounds more like Faction to me, maybe a FS faction bar thats unseen. But even then the game designed faction to go both positive and negitive. Hmm, Im curious now...

Do feel free to say it anyway.
How come there's nothing about Training/Apprenticeship points? Surely that must be relevant.

do you know if the pts are back to 0 if you die? that would suck. no one would ever be a jedi for a sane amount of time.
Shady, I am pretty sure that all special places have FS xp value. Those related to your profession and faction seem to have more value than others.
Ceist, it is a friend of minewho isa friendto one of the developers kinda thing, which seems lame to me even as I write it.
Destroyer, I am not sure what kind of hit you take when you die, or abort a mission. Starting over from scratch seems ludicrous to me. However I do not know. I personally do not think that your entire FS xp starts over from 0 when you die.

Khaliban I do not know what happens when you surrender points from your starting profession. Since surrendering points is not like failure, but actually exploring the game, somthing the Sony people want anyway, I doubtpoints are taken away.Perhaps any skills once achieved reward you with FS exp whether or not you later surrender them or not.
