So within the 300 second time, the more you tip, the better. The more you group, the better. The more you emote/play with others, the better. After the 5 minute time is elapsed, it's added to the meter, no retry, etc. Aye?

This is not a flame, just funny...

Basically, what Fast-Gun has just told me is that by simply tipping someone every 5 minutes and playing non-stop 24 hours a day I can get the required amount of XP to try unlocking the FS slot in about 695 days! (1000800 FS-XP)... sweet! ! ! See you when Ihave my saber. It was just funny to calculate how long it would take to get FS with just tipping.

So basically if I tipped once the first time I played the game, the timer started then, ended 5 minutes later, and I got 1 point in return. Even if I tip 3 weeks later, it will not count towards the fs meter, nor replace the pts earned before?

Also, what does 'weighted' mean? You know, this is pretty convincing...it's a way more believable theory then the others due to the fact that that it's very broad. Anything you do do is monitored, not really profession-focused like many think.

I congratulate you and your friend on this, I am certainly going to try this out.

Hmmm ok now i understand the non-repeatable, every 5 minutes system. Sorry for the mixup.
So I can't spam it. Doh

Fakie, weighted means that thereare some variables with certain actions and activities, and theFS exprewards are scalable. However I do not know the specifics.

I see...And only a couple last questions:

Faction specific quests= rebel or imperial?

And if my original profession was marksman/pistoleer, if I get destroy missions from NPC's and such, and destroy them with a pistol and pistol commands, it counts towards my profession specific quest points? There's also the bounty hunter specific quests but that one is pretty obvious.

I HIGHLY doubt that it will be just based on one thing like that... I think that it may be part of the jedi system, but it most unliekly for you to /tip someone and get the message YOUVE UNLOCK THE FS SLOT

I think it will have alot more to do with polaces you visit/do in the game, as well as some profession type stuff. However, I think unlocked the slot has more to do with what you visit/do in the game. Ive heard a very blecievable theory on this boartd once... you know all the NPC"s that say No, your not the one Im waiting for.... Well, one of all those could be YOUR NPC to talk to, and since they're all thousands of NPC's, and some in the middle of nowhere, it is a perfectly believable system. However, they most liekly say that becuase they are targets for delivery missions. Oh well... I think the planets dantioone and dathmoir have alot to do with unlocking the FS slot... Dantioone for unlocking, and dathmoir for people who have unlocked the FS slot. There is a cave on top of witch montian that NO ONE can get in. You walk in and it transports you back out. Either A: You need to meet certain requirements to get in the cave, and that cave may have something to do unlocking the FS, or you need to be a jedi or FS to get in there...

In conclusion, I believe that NPC's and visiting places /fulling certain requirements is the static part, the part that IS the same for everyone. However, I believe that there will bea vertain random part, IE the template above, or something different. Who knows... my 2 cents....

k, this seems like best theory ive come across so far since you said yourself you can't prove anything and with your theory you or nobody should be able to at this point.

i was planning to do something along the line of this anyway.

btw i never get npc missions so i have no idea where to get profession related npc missions. i started out as a marksman and i am a master in it. i also expanded a little into rifleman with a couple skills and pistoleer.

It does not matter which faction you join however not joining any faction gives up the opportunity for points. I do not know if being neutral disqualifys you or not.

Tipping and other social activities are a small part of the system, but the bread and butter point makers have to do with completing skills, successful quests, and exploration of the Galaxy.

Ok... So let mesee if I understand this a bit... On the original starting profession... If I choose brawler but immediately go towards a medical line... And before I master the unarmed tree that I was working up master the medics... Do I then have the medic as my starting profession or is it still the brawler that is my original profession?

Many NPC missions are for certain professions, they are randomly dispersed in cities and across the landscape. I have heard that the Guild Halls, temples, palaces, and other large buildings in cities offer larger and more complex quests.

Kizuna this is the one part that seems unfair to me. However for some reason it is weighted heavily with points. Mastering your starting profession. I started as a Marksman and am going the Pistoleer/BH Pistol line route. So in my case I must master Marksman. But many people have no intention of doing so, nor would they want too. It doesnt mean this disqualifys them from FS slots or anything. But they miss a one time XP reward.

is secondary profession the second profession you picked up, the profession you got most skills in, or an elite profession expanded on your original profession?

btw i know there are some sidekicks next to npcs in guild halls. ill try those. ill do a count up of my force pts so far that i can know using this system.
