First of all I'd like to say that pikeman is the best. I've tried just about every profession and Pikeman kicks ass. I just want to know if It's possible to take on a krayt solo. Has anyone done it?

Good 85%+ armor
A Good LVA
Intimidate
Bleeds
some medic
i just cant imagine how long it would take bleeding a krayt to death 
u will probally die of old age before it dies

Before bleeds were nerfed, I used to be able to solo krayts all the time.

It is very possible. Speed capped and it's a snap. Just get doc buffs, brandy, and ahrisa. Then put on a bunch of intimidates and hit3 on home.

want to hunt Krayts?
the best I have seen/done was TKM/Commando (Master Commando if possible) the FIre DOt will take maybe 15-20mins on Giant Canyons and 10-15mins on Canyons
Dont forget FlameSingle1/2 and FlameCone1/2 all Stack

Ah, the good old days. The first NS elder I ever killed was done totally with the old bleed-and-burst method.
Took forever, but at least I was rewarded with The Worst LVA Ever (tm).

Hehe. Even better was the action bleed/DoT and stand-your-ground to get Nothing elders and krayts.

I solo everything but ancients all the time takes less than 20 minutes with a 5-600 damage LVA and only a bit longer with store bought ones. It works better to group with a Jedi and tank though while he tears through it.

Heh, standing your ground for Wookiees back then only tended to last about 15 seconds, then it switched to laying on your back. I'm surprised I didn't wear the number off my burstrun hotkey.
I did at one point have a mastery in the Fight-for-an-hour-and-get-nothing profession, but had to drop it so I could pick up Fight-for-an-hour-and-get-a-couple-credits.

What did you mean by this? Bleeds were nerfed? Did they use to work differently than now?

They used to tick for the full strength of the initial attack, which itself did no damage. Now the initial attack does damage and the bleeds tick for much less (1/5th, last I checked).
Pre-nerf you could for instance land a 2.5k actionhit1 and a 3.5k actionhit2 and have a 6k bleed ticking away.
