If you have 90 base, steak an 800 plus LVA and be a doc or def stacker you can solo them, Id definately rather the doc though, if you cant get straight back up they can kill you. 
It would take for ever though, better off taking one or two friends

my own view thou.....just get master rifleman (helps with elder hunting, block, ranged defence, ranged mit, and conceal shot) then use conceal shot on them, saves money on armour, money on food, and u can do damage faster (with crafted weapons) with a T21....
nothing against pikemen doing it thou, just costs more equipment.

get swords or rifles... use mind dots... headhits...

I do it all the time. Good armor. Medic skills. And my big axe on the end of a stick
