It's too bad we can't get any reaction from Keldarin on this. Wouldn't it be nice if we could tell the bugs from the game?

I guess the thing is.. the more of these pets that are around the more likely the nerf will come. CL 10 pets that can eat CL 30 Wild pets (ok I know I am exaggerating here) is gonna cause people to complain ..

Things should be balanced out and corrected by us before someone else decides to have a nerf calling fall upon us.

For those being non-ch pets, it isn't right. You are taking about creatures that should fall in the upper ends of the CH tree for control, not for folks who don't have any CH skill at all. There is no reasonable way for non-ch's to have pets of that nature, period.

I'm not saying you exploited, or anything like that. Ok, you cloned and resampled over and over to get these stats. Cool. However, it is very unbalanced and shouldn't be that way. So I call a bug on that part. Non-ch's should not be able to handle creatures of that magnitude. Having creatures like that roaming around in the hands of very low end CH's as well as folks with zero skill points is very unbalacing. If we let that continue, we are then just begging to get nerfed hard later on unless we try to work it out now.

On my server (chilastra) For the low level pets you would probally get 100k and for the kimo Ive seen one guy offer 2mill.Which is stupid.I would never pay that much for a kimo,Ill use my 2 graul maulers or my old bio rancor lvl 50 12.5k hams that hits for 675-695.Hope that helps.

Wire3k, after taming them I examined the virvurs and it says

Aggresive: No
Stalker: Yes
Tameable: No
Deathblows: No
Ferocity: 0

So if it goes by aggressiveness then I would guess a non ch can use them.

I dont have any screenshots but if anyone wants to meet me on Radiant to take some in various poses and scenic backgrounds, i would be happy to oblige. (I think a nice shot fo one in front of a cave entrance would be nice-- reminiscent of the Rabbit of Caerbannog, Monty Python Search for the Holy Grail)

I didn't use any bugs in making them, just went out and sampled creatures then threw the stuff togther in a testtube and cooked for several hours. The kaadu itself was about 8th or 9th generation inbreeding with occasional fillers

Hrmmm, well there goes my theory of aggressive in the wild = a problem. Those are listed as aggressive on swgcreatures, possible error? Are the wild ones aggressive or am I all wet on my theory of aggressive = viscious status?

With that specials combo are you using mynok samples from LOK? I am getting a lower version of those creatures. I haven't been able to consistently get them under cl10 but absolutely getting them cl14 and under its a matter of time before I get it tweaked further.

Dulles,

I am happy for you if you are making good non-ch pets. but think about the guy who you sell one of those to for 100k or more. In a month or less when he can't use it, he will come looking for you. Or at least I and many of the people I know would.

You are right, he will come looking for me to thank me for not charging him anywhere near 100k.

I'd also love to know how you pulled this off. After spending six hours trying to bring endor dna and rancor dna from dath down to a lvl 24ish pet with armor and not succeeding, I'm pretty curious. I never heard of bugged DNA but it certainly makes sense, since after around lvl 35 you start to get low on the amount you can experiment on the physique.

So Dulles, and company, please give us your ultimate recipe...enlighten us...

So Ive made 4 decent pets on the Radiant server and am wondering what sort of price they will fetch

Armor: LIGHT
All Resists: 1%
Dam: 120-130

Special 2: Strong Disease
Ranged: No

VirVur

All Resists: 49%
Dam: 500-510
Special 1izzy Strike

VirVur
CL8
Health:8881
Action:5345
Mind:5632
Armor: None
All Resists: 47%
Dam: 450-460
Special 1: Dizzy Strike
Special 2: Strong Disease

Kimogilia
CL47

Action:9814
Mind:9922
Armor: LIGHT
Kinetic Resist: 41%
Energy Resist 35%
Blast Resist: 64%

Cold Resist: 68%
Electric Resist: 64%
Acid Resist: 64%
Stun Resist: 60%

Would the Kimo be considered a decent PvP pet with the Light armor and additional 41% Kinetic, 35% Energy Resists and Ranged Dizzy attack? I was offered 75k for the CL8 VirVur and made the others after that, but havent advertised them anywhere.

that kimo is not a great pvp pet... think light armro, kinetic, heat (commando, #1 pvp class), acid (pistoleer and BH), electric (BH), energy (rifleman), blast ( commando), and I personally think you need some stun (rifleman with jawa rifle)
