Thread: CL10 Light Armor Kaadu possible--yes
I did some serious experimentation with nonCH pets last night.
I had previously tried to do it through a breeding program by using DNA from clones to make 2nd generation clones and their DNA to make 3rd generation clones etc. There is some merit to this method but it is HARD and time consuming. I gave up after the 5th generation when my results were not getting signifigantly better then the 2nd generation.
Last night I tried a new method with great success and much improved productivity. My new method is to put CL40-50 DNA with the specials I want into Physique andAgression slots and then fill up Prowess, Mental, and Psychological with very low level DNA sampled from yard trash outside a starter city. I had success using Corellian Butterfly Drone, Durni, Howling Plumed Rasp, Gurrcat, and Scavenger Rat DNA for the low level DNA. On experimentation put all you can into Psychological first, then Aggression. If you still have some experimentation points left then try to even out the percentages on Mental, Physique, and Prowess. If this produces a clone that is a little to high level (often in the CL12-17 range) but with the special you wanted then save it and sample it for DNA to use in the Physhological or Agression slot for more low level clone attempts. I was able to reliably get under CL10 when using the single cloned DNA in psychological and about 50% of the time when using real low level DNA for Pshychological. If you spend some time collecting high level DNA first then you can hang out on starter planet with a crafting droid beside you sampling yard trash and cranking out the nonCH pets.
The stats for my pets crafted in this fashion was about 2-4k health, 5-20% on resists, and pretty accurate placement of specials including some very powerfull specials like strong poison fron Nocuous Kamurith, Strong Disease from Kamurith Defilers, or Knockdown from Blood Stained Mereks. This may change soon as it seems like the specials have zero affect on CL at this time and that may get "balanced" soon.
It really would be nice to hear from Keldarin as to how powerfull the nonCH pets should be coming out. I feel good about the resists and HAM I am getting on them but the specials seem too strong. Although the specials may be bugged. I am also a Master CH and have been using some cloned pets with knockdown, poison, dizzy, and disease attacks and I have yet to be able to give the command for a specific special and see the pet use it.
Yes indeed there is DEFINATELY a bias there. Obviosuly is CL10 clones can be made (intentionally) with 8K HAM, 50% resists, Light Armor, and Strong Poison then the Creature Handler class is pretty much made useless for anything other then training other people's tanks for them. You don't need Crature Handlers with 12k HAM tanks when everyone in your party can send in their own 8k HAM tank from the Doctor and COmabt Medic to the TKA, Commando, and Bounty Hunter. This game is all about balance and any feature of it that makes one class useless or another class too powerfull always gets nerfed. Thats the way it works.
Unfortunately, the majority of players in the game embrace these unbalancing features that creep in with the big publishes and then everyone screams and cries and moans and places blame on the forum posters that bring up the exploits publically when the nerf bat comes down.

AR1 50%? I didn't see anyone mention this. There's a huge difference between AR1 50% and AR0 50%
AR0 50% is still a weaker pet than rock beetles and gaulamas pre-patch which NON CH could use

Better get em while they last. The bug allowing these to be madewill probably not last very long.
Imagine that, Killer actually playing SWG. Shouldn't the resupply bug that allowed the Axis to overrun the map get fixed? How about a map reset to pacify the crowds?
Hmmmm, and maybe the DE profession will be fixed too. Never know...
Ok, thread hijack over.

Its not being biased, its getting angry at cheaters.
If you're only able to make these UBER CL10 pets with ONE type of DNA from ONE creature, than its an exploit. You can't take any other creatures DNA down that low with such amazing results. Is this one creature the MAGIC GENIE of all BE's dreams, I highly doubt it, the devs missed something and probably will make it soon.
Quit rationalizing it to yourselves that's it fair, its not. Same thing with the whole duping milk thing, and people saying, no I collected it all. You didn't that was exploiting too, and its not the RIGHT way to do things.
If you want to take advantage of exploits, that's your business. If you want to sell exploited pets to people for outrageous prices, that's your business. What I don't want is you cheaters talking to me like you're not cheating, and saying, "This is what was intended to be." Its not, if it was intended we could take any armored DNA and inbreed it to those lower lvls keeping the uber stats.
If you folks making these uber clones are doing it fairly, prove it. I'm so tired of seeing the say types of stats, and people conveniently forgetting how they made it. Want me to fill in the blank for you, "I made it by using and EXPLOIT."

Its EXACTLY this reason why I rarely even bother with these forums. Immature childish posters should be required to have a license to post.
1. I did not "exploit" or use "bugged" dna or whatver the crap you want to say. I went to dathomir looking for rancors to sample and since it was taking forever I sampled other things also, craggy bolmas, all types of kamuriths, brackasets, all types of kwis and any other thing I came across. I would set up camp nearby whenever my pack started getting full and spend a couple hours experimenting. It turns out I liked te results from the kamurith defiler the most, so I set up camp near a spawn and proceeded to expereiment all day long for a couple days. After 40-50! dead ends, crit failures, and lost causes, I ended up with those two resulting virvurs. This is the result of bio engineering WORKING THE WAY ITS CURRENTLY DESIGNED...NOT BUGGED DNA. When I was out sampling, now warning signs came up saying "do nto sample this" so please refrain with your silly comments.
2. As for my comments about Bio engineering working the way it was designed. Yes it is. Maybe its because I have genius level IQ and figured out the system and you can't. Ill post a new thread about my latest creation. For the record, you are saying that its all types of kamuriths that are bugged right? So if I make a low level creature using sample that are completely non-kamurith then I will prove my case, right?
Consider it done

Hmmm, I noticed that all of the BEs here that are screaming about how horribly bugged these high HAM low CL creature creations are, are also Master Creature Handlers.... I since a BIT of a bias here....
Why would there be bias?
I'd love to have two 30's with ridiculously high HAM/armor/resist/specials AND a CL10 powerhouse to ride at the same time.... ohhh wait, thats more than i had BEFORE the revamp.
