its a time saver because u dont have to select a schematic or click prototype or move to the next crafting stage. unless u can open a crafting tool and close it with a MNS being practiced in 6 seconds (and im sure you CANT) consistantly for a long period of time you will never get exp as fast. faster exp=time saver (make sense?).

my contro macro is very similar (almost identical) except mine has /pause 6 instead of10andhas a /ui action toolbarPane## to make sure its on the right pane before it runs any toolbar slots. i recommend this cause it sux to haveit on the wrong pane and screw up your crafting rythm just cause u decided to run a macro on another pane at the same time.

/dump will end a macro by dumping any /paused commands. i dont have it on a toolbar slot because its so easy to type, but u can put it on one.

All you see when it's working is that message, and then the craft kit starts counting down (if you're doing /createPrototype practice no item, you won't get an item when the countdown is done either).

Work with it in pieces until you know how it works, would be my recommendation. Or break it into pieces.

One hotkeyed macro that selects kit and schematic, for starters, until you have that mapped. Then hand enter the resources. Then hit the finishing macro (with the three nextcraftingstage, and the two createprototype practice no items) once the resource blocks are fully filled in.

You'll get the system message. And if you actually built the macro right, the countdown timer will start on the kit you used.

Once you've got it figured out and functional, you can attempt the combined command and control macros, and all you'll have to do is sit there and make sure the resources get into their blocks during the pause in the macros.

TerIhLon: /dump is a command you can use to dump paused commands, which is great if you have a repeating macro going. Just type /dump to stop it, and you don't have to log out, move the button you created in your toolbar, or whatever method you've used to loop commands.

To people who aren't sure it's working or get the "crafting session has ended message":
Keep your skill progress bar up on the desktop (check the box on your Skills page (CTRL-S)). Set the macro up to only run once for one button, then test it a few times. Basically when it runs, you should see the schematic selection screen, then the assembly screen where you must click on the resources that you need. You can click your resources as quickly as you want, but make sure this stage pauses long enough for the slots to finish loading. The macro continues a few seconds later by going through the next stages in the background. You won't see the options for prototype or schematic, the name prototype screen, or anything beyond that. You'll simply see the message that the crafting session has ended. If you don't notice the countdown number appear over the tool you had active add 1 or 2 second pauses to the stages beyond resources selection. Sometimes the schematics go without a hitch, other times you need to increase the pause times slightly or you end up losing one of the commands and the session will choke, causing you to lose your item and the resources used. I tested this on a macro for two hours and found that by simply adding one second to each of my pauses after selecting the resource, I got the xp and the practice item completed.
Try and pick an item with a minimal amount of components, and experiment with using different ones. I had a hell of a time with the constrictor cloth, but had no problems at all with MicroNutrient supplements.

I have a Weaponsmith on Coronet on Corbanits. I'll send it to you. Though there are a couple of variations. Please note that you put in the ingredients and hit the macro, all you expect to see is the window dissapear and a "The crafting session has been ended" message. Set it up to only do one item initially. Check your appropriateXP counter. Run the macro. Make sure that your XP went up as expected. Make sure that nothing got placed in your inventory. I know the end seems kinf od abrupt but as a WS I found with the macro I was getting 25K XP per hour on a 50XP item. (10K without) Nutrient Supplement(?) Should get you over 30K per hour. Send an email to Ivar to remind me.

To minimize time, i ended up making one macro call the next macroing, instead of a controller macro. I also have the dump macro.

My only problemis that i can only seem to get 4 stations going at once. When i start the 5th i get an error if the first station is still working on its product. Has anyone else seen this issue?

I'm confused..You do still have to dbl click for the resources to go into the appropriate slots, so how is this exactly a time saver? I set up 4 food tools as F9 - F12, and my thumb on enter...I press F9, do a few quick dbl clicks (they fixed it so it is alot faster now to add ingredients), and press enter, wait half a second, 2 more quick enters, and im done...

If this somehow added ingredients automatically, that'd be something different...but, I just fail to see how this makes it so wonderfully fast..

its a time saver because you go straight from clicking the ingredients in... to clicking the ingredients in... this macro skips the enter.. enter enter...

but more importantly, grinding is a pain cause its a lot of work... when ur doing it for 2 hrs straight.. would u rather do it your way? or just click 6 times each?

you dont have to use hte macro if you dont want to.. but.. the big question is.. why NOT?

I've been using this macro for some days. (The original one at the top of the page.) Worked great. Today, though, it won't work at all. I just hang up at the /nextCraftingStage, and get a message saying 'Crafting session terminated'.

Anyone else having this problem??
