Thread: Grinding tip
How can you tell the Draftschematic number? I used the exact lines that were posted and my crafting station was trying to create Kahmurra DNA.
to get the macros to run fast enough to get the 63k per hour u will need to be outside of a city or the lag will slowcrafting down and the macrowill overlap after 6 seconds and thats just a mess. u alsoneed to be fast on the mouse.
u could fit it all into one macro, but i have 7 - one for each crafting tool and one to runthrough them (run one, wait 7 sec, then the next, and so on... for the 63k macro it needs to be 6 sec)twice (thats 12 MicroNut Supp's). each of the first 6 opens one crafting tool to the MNS and then waits5 seconds (4 for the 63k an hour macro)for me to put in the resources before finishing the process in practice mode.
u could just as easily make one that runs through them all once and thenruns itself (so it never stops)so all u have to do is click the resources for an hour but i like the little breaks. especially when i had it at 4 sec to put in the resources it burns you out very fast
to get the 63k u would have to be running the macros non-stop and have no criticals. you also would need 90k meat, 90kflora, and 120k organics and with meat how it is now thats nearly impossible unless u save it up for a week.
basically my point is that while it *IS* possible to get 63k BE exp in an hour like this, u will probably never do it. it is however very easy to do it in increments and get about 20k-30k expan hour avg over 3-4 hours with a slower macro like i use and taking breaks to find more resources.
this is still very good exp.
my last pointer: try not to think about the fact that its only 105 exp for each one -_-;;
if the crafting staitions are in a different toolbar then at the fron of that macro put in /ui action toolbar(00-05) (the first toolbar being 00 and the last (#6) being 05)
oh and for each toolbar the slots start over again, with the top row going from 00-11 and the bottom being 12-23
This is an improved version of the macro Jaxidian posted a while back. I've been using the other one and love it, have to try this one while I still have one box left to Master ![]()
SOF, your numbers are way off, you added a 0 there somewhere. 63K at 105 per MNS is 600 MNS. At 15 meat per, that's 9k not 90k meat which is much easier to gather. For the organic I just use more flora since it's very easy to get. I can often by flora from the baazar at 2 per or plop down a flora farm on a high concentration spot to get it even cheaper. That makes 15 meat and 35 flora for each MNS for a total of 9k meat, 21k flora for 63k.
thanks Talthazar.. lol
it seemed like waaay too much since my resources werent going that fast. 9k is more like it...
i did all the calculations at 8 in the morning in my head so im not surprised i put an extra 0.
srry everyone!:*(
i dont know if its a good idea to post the macro here cause the devs might read it and nerf us, but screw it if its gonna happen its gonna. ill post it up when i get the chance. after all we are sposed to be helping each other.
also: i realized it *may* be possible to just drop the macros that use eachtool UNDER the actualtool (in the shift-Fkey slots). does this work? can u use /ui action toolbarSlot12 for the slotunder Slot00?? if so that would be fantastic. i would only need to take up one button that way (i dont use the shift ones anyhow).
anyone know if it works?
Yes...F1 through F12 are 00-11...
(Shift+F1) through (Shift+12) are 12-23.

I play a WS as well as a BE. That macro is truly a life saver. (As far as I know every WS uses it) Especially since it takes a million crafting XP to master WS and your starting grind itemonly gives50 XP. Heck the best WS grinding item only seems to give 100 XP. I do wish they would do something to help with the grind. I play the game to have fun. Not sure why you have to grind for 40 hours before your allowed to do that. Even worse for the first few days of grinding you have to throw away (practice) everything you make because no one is interested in buying any of it. Gotta try architect, grind items that give 5000XP and people actually want to buy them when your done. (Though it may not feel that way if there only will to pay 2cr/u)
The key to finding out what number your schematic is to realize that the tool you plan to use only "see's" the schematics it can make. So a food/chem crafting tool will not "see" your non/food chemical schematics and will not count them.
There are also several posts about this subject on the www.swgcraft.com forums, specifically the general crafting forum.
